Kaleid looked at Avyrain who had a calm expression on her face which he was not able to read

‘If it really is fate then it favors me this time, seeing as I don't even have to make a move for them to meet’ Kaleid thought to himself

"It seems like your so called boyfriend is comforting another woman and to top it off in a secluded corner" Kaleid uttered with a smile

Avyrain rolled her eyes as she said "Whose fault do you think that is?"

"Probably the captain" Kaleid replied

Avyrain scoffed as she said "Just so you know, I'm referring to you"

"I didn't do anything" Kaleid replied

"You didn't form some sort of relationship with Claire, did you?" Avyrain asked

"I already told you that you're the one I love, how many times must I repeat that for you to understand?" Kaleid stated

"So you didn't?" Avyrain inquired once again

‘Why in the world does she always ignore the most important part of what I say’ Kaleid thought with annoyance

Kaleid sighed as he said "What's the point of getting first place in academics when you're this dense"

Avyrain crossed her arms as she said "Are you mocking me?"

Kaleid immediately shook his head as he said "Of course not, how dare I"

"What I meant is Claire is purely our basketball team's manager and I'm just one of the players she manages, nothing more" Kaleid stated

"Oh, she's leaving" Avyrain uttered as Astrid ran away after talking to Valt

Avyrain took a step to walk towards Valt when Kaleid suddenly held her arm

"Didn't you promise to give me your time after finals?" Kaleid uttered stopping her

"Why?, what do you want to do?" Avyrain asked

"Nothing, I just want to spend some time with you" Kaleid replied

Avyrain removed his hand as she said "Then let's do it another time"

Then, Avyrain walked away and went to Valt

"Valt!" Avyrain called out as she walked near him

"Senpai" Valt uttered with a smile on his face

"Congratulations on winning" Avyrain stated

"Thank you but I didn't really do anything that much senpai" Valt replied

"What are you talking about?" Avyrain uttered

"You were very cool today, I bet you gained even more fans" she added

"It's nothing compared to what Kaleid did" Valt replied with a smile

‘Gosh, he's just too humble and kind for his own good’ Avyrain thought to herself

Avyrain reach up her hand and ruffled his hair as she said "That doesn't make you any less cooler than him, you are amazing in your own way"

Valt held Avyrain's hand that brush his hair and placed it on his cheek as he said "Thank you senpai"

"Oh you guys were really here" Iris uttered as she walked towards them

"I'm sorry to disturb your lovey dovey time but the team is having a celebratory dinner tonight so we'll be borrowing the captain" Iris stated with a smile
