"Finally, it's the finals!" Iris stated with enthusiasm

It's the 2nd day of the tournament and the team's last game

"Manager, is Avyrain senpai still not here?" Valt asked

"I also didn't see her yet and change into your uniform already" Iris stated

Meanwhile, Avyrain just arrived in front of the gymnasium when Kaleid suddenly called her out

"What is it?" Avyrain asked

"Don't forget our bet" Kaleid uttered with a smile then walked away

Avyrain sighed as she mumbled "Why is he so confident?"

‘Well it's not entirely impossible for Kaleid to score more than Valt and make the team win’ Avyrain thought to herself

"After all, he is the male lead" Avyrain uttered to herself as she went to the cafeteria and bought a bottle of water

As Avyrain looked at the small bottle of water in her hand, she mumbled "I went to Astrid's house to ask if she will go here today but her mother said she is so sick that she can't meet anyone at the moment"

Avyrain tightened her hold on the bottle as she said "This time, her first interaction with Valt won't be happening"

‘Although I already decided to tie Kaleid down to me and let Valt have his happiness, a part of me still hopes he won't fall in love with Astrid because the chances of him going through that heartache is so high’ Avyrain thought to herself

When Avyrain went inside the gymnasium, the basketball tournament for finals was just about to start

She sat on the seat behind the player's bench which is located a distance above the team

‘Kaleid is now back in the first five?’ Avyrain thought to herself

As her eyes met with Valt who is standing beside Kaleid, Avyrain smiled and mouthed ‘good luck’

Valt smiled back then reverted back his gaze at the opponents

Then with the sound of the whistle, the final game officially starts

As the ball was tossed up, the two opposing players jumped up but only one was able to grab it

It was Kaleid.

As he got a hold of the ball, he sprinted towards their basket and made a shoot which undoubtedly got in

‘That was fast!’ Avyrain thought to herself

After that, the opposing team also made a shot and scored

Then the ball went to Reiji which he then passed to Kaleid and in turn Kaleid made a 3 point shoot and gained another score for the team

This time, the ball was in the opposing team when they suddenly made a foul move against Kaleid

Thus Kaleid was given a free throw which he flawlessly got in

After he got a shot, Reiji tap Kaleid's shoulder as he uttered in a low voice "You got her attention, keep it up"

Kaleid smiled then looked across Avyrain

When Avyrain's eyes met with Kaleid, she was caught in surprise as she look at him

"Watch me" Avyrain uttered as she read Kaleid's lips uttering to her

Then he reverted back his gaze and focused back on the game

The game went on and the first quarter ended with more than half of the team's point coming from Kaleid
