"This is my first time wearing a yukata, does it look alright in me?" Avyrain asked

"You look the most beautiful person I've ever seen" Valt uttered with a smile

"Jeez, why are you so good with words?" Avyrain stated with a sigh

"What do you want to do?" Valt asked

"Anything, how about we try catching that gold fishes?" Avyrain stated

After trying it out, the shop owner stopped Valt a moment later after he manage to get a lot of it

"Why are you so good at everything?, now what are we going to do with these bag of gold fish?" Avyrain stated

"Do you not want to keep it senpai?" Valt asked

"They easily die and I'm not good at taking care of pets" Avyrain replied

Then, Avyrain walked towards a kid who was watching at the stall

"Hey kid, do you want to have these?" Avyrain asked

The kid nodded his head then Avyrain gave it to him

"Senpai, do you want to eat candy apples?" Valt asked

"Sure, just one" Avyrain replied

While Valt was waiting in a line of people, Avyrain saw Astrid from a distance with guys hitting on her

Avyrain walked towards them as she said "Astrid who did you came with?"

The guys who were trying to hook her up looked at Avyrain then smiled

"Another pretty lady, who might you be?" the guy stated as he touched a strand of Avyrain's hair

Avyrain pushed him away then she grabbed Astrid's hand as she said "Let's go"

"Where do you think you're going?" the guy stated as he walked in front of Avyrain

Avyrain coldly looked at him then she suddenly lift her foot up and kicked his crotch

As the guy uttered in pain while holding his crotch, Avyrain pulled Astrid as they ran away

When they got far away, Avyrain turned to look at Astrid "Why were you all alone?"

Astrid removed her hand from Avyrain's grasp as she said "Whose fault do you think it is?"

"What are you implying at?" Avyrain stated

"The person who always takes me to the fireworks festival is now busy tiring himself out for the person he likes" Astrid stated

"Kaleid is with Claire?" Avyrain uttered in surprise

'I guess it should be happening around this time since the tournament is approaching but it's still early for that' Avyrain thought to herself

"Are you seriously playing dumb with me?!" Astrid yelled in anger

"Kaleid wakes up early in the morning and goes to the school gym then he returns home very late, when I followed him once all he did was practice basketball all day and do you even know the reason why?" Astrid stated with her face downcast

"Aren't you being too emotional?, although you're already born that way" Avyrain stated

'You can keep that pitiful acting to yourself but I'm not as kind as Valt who easily falls for that' Avyrain thought as she looked at Astrid

Astrid looked straight at Avyrain as she said "I don't understand why Kaleid likes a person like you, you don't deserve him at all"

"Then keep that oh so great Kaleid to yourself, but you see it's you who only knows how to weep that doesn't deserve him so if I were you I would have just minded my own business" Avyrain stated

"Senpai" Valt called out from afar as he ran towards Avyrain

"I was worried when you suddenly went out of my sight, here's your candy apple" Valt stated with a smile

Avyrain held Valt's hand then she dragged him away

"Why were you with that woman senpai?" Valt asked

Avyrain turned to look at Valt as she said "Do you know her Valt?"

"Not really, I just happened to see her all the time during practice" Valt replied

Avyrain looked grim in an instant as she thought 'Valt doesn't bother to remember anyone he doesn't seem to take interest though, just like our first meeting'

"Senpai, is there something wrong?" Valt asked as he worriedly looked at Avyrain

"Valt, what do you think of that woman?" Avyrain asked

'That woman is the key to make sure that guy doesn't take away my Avyrain, a useful tool if I am to tell you the truth' Valt thought to himself

"She seems nice" Valt replied

'Although I wouldn't tell you that senpai, I never want to let you see this dirty side of me' Valt thought with a smile on his face

"The fireworks are almost starting, let's go senpai" Valt stated as he held Avyrain's hand and gently pulled him to his side

As the fireworks blew up at the sky, everyone looked up and gaze with happiness at the beautiful sight

Everyone gaze above except Avyrain who was looking at Valt that was holding her hand while smiling and gazing above

'They say that you can't stop a person from falling in love, can I really not stop you Valt?' Avyrain thought as sadness overcame her while gazing at him

When Valt turned to look at Avyrain, his eyes locked with her and Avyrain responded with a smile then she looked at the fireworks in the sky

'Did I mistook it?, senpai looked sad for a second before she suddenly looked at me with a warm smile on her face' Valt thought to himself

"Valt, are you happy?" Avyrain asked

"Yes, I am very happy" Valt replied with a smile on his face

"Good, that's all I want" Avyrain stated

'Yeah I mistook it, Avy senpai must also be happy even just a little bit although it's nothing compared to my happiness of holding her hand like this while watching the same view together' Valt thought

Little did Valt know, how much the words he had said that night would cause such a ripple in his relationship with Avyrain
