The 2-days basketball tournament finally began

There are 8 school teams overall, Valt's team will have to win over 2 teams before going into finals

"So far, the team has been in a good state so they should be able to win the first game without a hitch" Iris uttered with a smile

"I'm convinced they'll win all of it without a doubt" Avyrain stated

"How would you know that?" Iris asked

"Did you also hear that from Astrid?" Avyrain asked

"No, Claire was the one who told me since she and her brother were helping Kaleid play during the semestral break" Iris casually replied

‘Was that the reason Kaleid and Claire got close with each other?, maybe they're even in a relationship now’

"Why are you suddenly turning into serious mode?" Iris asked while waving her hand in front of Avyrain

"Doesn't that mean Kaleid is already in a relationship by now?" Avyrain uttered

"Why am I in a relationship?" Kaleid uttered as he appeared behind Avyrain

Avyrain turned to look at him then she asked "Are you in a relationship with Claire?"

"Of course not, why would I be when you're the one I like?" Kaleid replied

‘Ohhh when did he became so straight forward, will Avyrain waver when faced with another handsome man?’ Iris thought as she turn her head to look at Avyrain's reaction

‘Hey! why are you still having that calm face?’ Iris thought to herself

"Then why were you practicing with her during the semestral break?" Avyrain asked

"Are you being jealous again?" Kaleid uttered with a grin

"If you're just messing with me then never mind" Avyrain stated then turned around and started walking away

Kaleid immediately chase after her and grabbed her hand as he said "I'm sorry, if I made you annoyed at me"

"His brother Reiji helped me practice and since she is also the team manager, she tagged along and helped me plan with the strategies for the game but that was all and nothing more" Kaleid stated as he gazed at Avyrain

‘So I guess this time there's no reason for that girl to weep but I can't be too sure since Astrid easily cries over anything that involves Kaleid’ Avyrain thought to herself

"Senpai, you haven't forgotten our deal right?" Kaleid stated

"If you had the highest score in your team, I'll have to give you a bottle of water" Avyrain calmly replied
