It was already the last period of class when Kaleid went to Avyrain's classroom looking for her

"I haven't seen Avy senpai for a whole day, do you know where she is?" Kaleid asked

"I also don't know where she is, she has never took an absent before and she also didn't reply to the text messages I sent her" Iris stated

"I went to look for Valt to ask but he was also absent, maybe they both went out on a date" she added

"I see" Kaleid uttered then went back home

After washing up, Kaleid went to Avyrain's house and knocked on their door

"Oh my it's Kaleid, what brings you here?" Avyrain's mother asked as soon as she opened the door

"Is Avyrain senpai inside?" Kaleid politely asked

Avyrain's mother looked hesitant then he let Kaleid in

"She has been staying inside her room for a long time and she only goes out to eat or go to the bathroom, I'm really worried for her but she says she was just tired" her mother stated

"I'll go speak to her" Kaleid uttered and bowed his head then he walked towards his room

Kaleid knocked on her door as he said "Senpai it's me, can I come in?"

Kaleid waited for a moment then the door slowly opened

The first thing that came into his sight is Avyrain who was on her pajamas with her messy hair and her eyes swollen

"What do you want?" Avyrain calmly asked

"I came to visit you, I was worried since I haven't seen you in school for a whole day" Kaleid replied

"Come in" Avyrain stated then sat back on her bed

Kaleid closed the door then politely sat on the floor while facing Avyrain

The moment he was looking at her on the same level, Kaleid noticed the hickey and bite marks on Avyrain's neck

"Did you make out with the captain?" Kaleid asked

His heart was beating so fast as he tries to mask out his irritation and sadness

Avyrain calmly smiled as she said "He forced himself on me"

The moment Avyrain uttered this words, Kaleid was immediately boiling with rage

"That bastard!" Kaleid uttered as he stood up from his seat and was about to storm out from her room to fight with Valt

However, Avyrain was quick to stop him as she held his arm

"He didn't went all the way through, he only managed to leave marks on my body" Avyrain stated then sat back on the bed

Kaleid balled his hands into a fist as he reluctantly sat down

Kaleid scoffed as he uttered with contempt "So he was a devil in sheep's clothing"

"No! you're wrong!" Avyrain strongly stated

"Are you still defending him after he has wronged you?!" Kaleid stated with anger

Avyrain went silent for a moment as she remembered Valt coldly looking at her as he said ‘You know nothing about what I feel senpai’

She wanted to tell Kaleid that Valt was not like that, that he was kind and caring

That Valt had a soft heart and someone who would give up his happiness for the one he loves

That he was someone who would put a smile in front of the one he loves then silently cry by himself as he watch his beloved with another man
