Vic's POV

Paige and I got to Jaime's place later that night, and realized we hadn't told anyone about us being back together yet. I mean, we were distracted and never made time for it. We were sitting in my car for a few minutes, talking. Whenever Paige talked about music, her eyes lit up. I could tell that she still wanted to make it in music.

"Why don't you go after your dream? You know, music?" I asked, looking into her eyes.

The twinkle in her eye disappeared as I asked that. "I could never make it..." She looked at her hands. "I want to, I really, really do, but I can't."

I grabbed one of her hands, causing her to look at me. "Why wouldn't you be able to make it.?" I asked.

I wanted Paige to make it in music, I really did. I knew she had the talent to do it, too. Knowing that she thought she wouldn't be able to make it broke my heart.

"I don't have to voice, I wouldn't be able to get discovered, I wouldn't know how to put myself out there, Ace took my song book..." She trailed off.

I thought for a moment, then smirked at her, causing her to blush slightly. "Sing for me," I urged her.

"W-what? No, no I can't Vic! My voice sucks!" She argued.

"No, please just sing for me," I begged, wanting to hear her voice.

I remembered one time when we were teans, after I had written a song, and her and I were singing it together. Our voices had harmonized so perfectly together, and at one point I stopped singing and heard just her voice, and I fell in love with the sound of her voice.

"Paige, I wrote a new song!" I smiled at her.

"Really? I want to hear!" She beamed at me.

"On one condition," I smirked at her. "You have to sing with me."

"But I don't even know the lyrics..." She trailed off.

"That's why I have a lyric book," I smirked at her.

"Um, fine, I guess I'll sing." She smiled, shyly.

I pulled out my song book and flipped it to a page, the name of the song was 'Stained glass eyes and colorful tears'. I began to sing the first line.

"I changed your mind, and ended up here," I stopped for a moment, "Through stained glass eyes, and colorful tears..."

Paige joined in, understanding how the song went. We began to sing in harmony. "Fine, maybe I'll pretend right now, but I swear to God I'm gonna change the world. And I promise you someday we'll tell ourselves, 'Oh my God this is paradise.'"

I smiled at her before we started the next verse. "I cherish my, American girl. She holds them down, while I destroy the world. My desperate crimes, she don't seem to care. She bites her tongue so that we can tell each other 'Baby this is paradise, and it's so goddamn good.' Now we live like we should."
