Vic's POV
"Yeah Hime," I heard Paige whisper. "I missed Vic too much to stay mad at him, and I missed him too much to stay with Ace, and yes, I broke it off with Ace." Paige told our hyper friend.
"You and Ace are over? Damn. Well come in! Holy shit everyone's gonna want to know!" Jaime beamed as he opened the door wider for us.
Paige and I walked into the familiar surroundings, and instantly, I heard all our friends talking to each other, also, I smelled pie, apple pie. "Did you make pie?" I asked Jaime as I looked at him.
"Jessica did, but yeah, we have pie. Now go into the kitchen, everyone's going to be so happy to find out you two are back together!"
I laughed at Jaime as I released Paige's hand and wrapped my arm around her waist, bringing her closer to me. I looked down at Paige, and she smiled up at me. I brought my lips down to hers or a moment, missing the taste of her lips on mine.
Paige and I then made our way into the kitchen, and I swear the room went silent. All eyes were on us, and everyone looked shocked, everything else was unreadable.
"Um hey," Paige said, finally snapping everyone from their gaze that was making me really uncomfortable.
Sally stood up, and looked at me, causing me to swallow a lump in my throat. I didn't know how well Sally would handle it, she still liked Paige more than me. She would always protect Paige, like a big sister would.
"Hurt her," Sally growled as she got closer, "And I will kill you, Fuentes."
"Sally," Paige snapped, "You know how much Vic means to me. I know him, he wouldn't hurt me. He had never hit me, and he never cheated on me either." Paige took a stand for herself, obviously not wanting Sally to make that threat.
"Can't you just be happy for them? I mean look! They're so cute together!" Jessica announced, smiling.
I then felt Paige bury her head in my chest, allowing me to know that she was blushing.
"I am happy, but I don't want Victor hurting Paige again," Sally replied coldly.
She used my full name, and she sounded so cold and angry, that's when I could tell that Sally might be happy, if we were lucky, but overall, she was pissed and I could tell she was pissed at me, not Paige.
I swallowed a lump in my throat and tightened my grip on Paige's waist a bit, feeling protective of the precious girl in my arms.
I knew that I loved Paige. I knew I would only ever love her. The way she made me feel, she made me feel happy, alive, free. No matter how depressed she had ever been, she just made me feel happy. When I was around her, I got butterflies, I got nervous, I felt happy. She always made me feel that way, as where no one else ever did.
The things Paige did made me fall for her even harder. The way she covered her face when she blushed, or hid her mouth when she laughed or ate. The way her eyes sparkled whenever she was talking about music. The way she looked up at the sky, with innocent eyes. The way she would giggle when she was talking to me. Just everything. Even the small things. They made her so perfect.
