My Not So Secret Diary!

I was reading a diary story the other day and the person it was about (who was real) had all these friends that were lgbtq+.

I only have two friends that have come out to me. One is lesbian and the other is bisexual.

In the diary the person had friends that were other genders than male or female. They had friends that were all different sexualities. They had friends that were aro and friends that were ace and everything in between.

Then I look at my life and I only know 4 people that are out. Only one of the 4 identifies as a different gender than their bio gender. They identify as non-binary.

How come there are REAL people that know people of every sexuality and gender but I'm stuck surrounded by cis straight people. I feel like I have no one to confide in. No one like me. As an omnisexual, demisexual, polyromantic, female I just want to feel like I'm not alone in my own community. You know?
