Okay so I'm going to talk about a lot of things in this chapter.

1. Coming out:

So I've only come out to 6 people I know personally. 4 in real life. My online bff Leda, my other online friend Zoe, my in real life bff Clio, my other bf Calista, my other bf Ophelia, and my close friend Iris. Also the whole entire internet but that doesn't count since It's anonymous.

I haven't come out to my parents though... They would be super supportive and fine with it, especially my mom, but my dad has made some comments that came off as unintentionally homophobic. He loves me unconditionally though so he would be very supportive about my sexuality. If I were to change my gender he might not be as supportive though. As of right now I'm very happy being a cis female but who knows where the future will lead me!

A few times while we were talking about lgbtq+ things or my mom was inquiring about my "crushes" my parents have asked me what my sexuality was. I, well, I lied every time. I said I was straight as a nail. Literally those exact words. But nails are usually bent when they are nailed in (wow in my dirty mind that sounded sooooo wrong). I don't know how or when to come out to them! Please help give me ideas!!!

2. Closet Story:

So yesterday my mom was looking for me and she sounded angry. I thought that she had gotten an email from my teacher saying that I was missing work (which I am but that's not important). So in a panic I ran into my closet and shut the sliding door.

When she opened my bedroom door I tried to stay super quiet but my heart was pounding so loud that she must have been able to hear it. (I have a huge fear of my mom finding out that I'm behind on schoolwork. She would be sooooo mad and sooooooooooooo disappointed in me.)

So she came in and opened the closet door cause that's the only place I could hide in my room. I almost had a panic attack. She said, "What are you doing in the closet?" And so I started thinking.

What am I doing in the mental closet? My parents and everyone around me would support my choices when it comes to who I love. What am I afraid of? To be honest I don't know. I almost jumped out of the closet and said, 'I'm omni mom!' Then I remembered I was probably in huge trouble so I lied about why I was in my physical closet.

"I have a headache and the closet is darker so I thought if I came in here for a little while then it might go away." I said. It was a pretty convincing lie considering that I get migraines very often and just headaches in general all the time. Thankfully I wasn't in trouble! My mom just wanted to talk to me about a summer camp that I might want to go to with my friend!The End

3. Summer Camp

So my mom signed me, and my boy crazed bff that I've known since I was 2, up for a really cool summer camp in August! Her name is Adelpha by the way. It's an all girls camp so I don't have to listen to her talk about all the "cute boys at camp" the whole time, yay! It's a week long overnight camp and me and her share a cabin. I'm planning on coming out to her then or hopefully sooner! Be expecting a few chapters about the Summer Camp in early August. I'm soooooo excited!!!

4. Solangelo and Books

So I am a HUGE fan of the Riordanverse books. Specifically the Percy Jackson trilogy PJO, HoO, and ToA. Solangelo is my OTP!!! There is so much LGBTQ+ representation for a book targeted at children.

There have been rumors that Uncle Rick is going to do a stand alone book about a fan picked character or group of characters from the Percy Jackson trilogy. The main contestants for the spot are a Solangelo in Tartarus book, a Hunters of Artemis book, or a Percy, Annabeth, and Grover road trip to Camp Jupiter book. I'm personally casting my vote for the Solangelo book OwO. Be prepared for many more chapters about the Riordanverse ;).
