So this chapter has many parts so be warned!
1. April Fools
Yesterday was April Fools. The kids at my school and I had a plan to prank the teachers. Our school is still fully online and we use Zoom.
One of the kids in my class who is also my friend is very bad at typing because she's always tired. She has been really sick (not with covid) for 4 months now. So she types a lot in the chat and her messages always end up very funny since she doesn't have auto correct.
One time she tried to spell coffee and it came out as coonfe. She is also obsessed with coffee and has named herself the Coffee Lord.
She gave everyone in the class weird nicknames and her's is Brain Paper. I was unfortunately named Tongue Crusher.
So this other girl in my class who was named String Mirror had an idea. When we joined Zoom we would all turn off our cameras and name ourselves Bob. No one did it sadly.
So Brain Paper had an idea. Brain Paper is and artist so she always puts a drawing of hers as her virtual background. She covers her camera so the only thing you can see is her art.
She sent one of her pictures to the class and told them to put it as their virtual background and name themselves Brain Paper. We also were only going to the chat.
Surprisingly when we logged onto our last class, most of the kids did what Brain Paper said. Including me! The teacher was so confused lol.
Right before everyone logged off for the day we all renamed ourselves are normal names and made our faces visible. We said "April Fools!" and logged off!
It was so so so fun. Thankfully my teacher for my last class is super chill so he played along with our prank.
2. Coming out!
"There is something I would like to tell you"
"Something I'm proud of"
"I feel great"
"It makes me really happy"
"And I love you so I'd love for you to know"
"Have you heard of LGBTQ+"
"Well I am the O"
"I have a heart that could love plural genders"
"Yes I'm Omni and I'm glad to be me"
"And just in case you were wondering"
"Yes I'm pretty sure it's not a trend"
"And though I am all for experiments"
"I have experimented"
"And I really really really really really really really like it, so"
"Thanks for listening"
"Now you know more about me"
"Something I'm proud of"
"I am apart of something really beautiful"
"Because love, is love, is love"
The video at the top is this song. I changed the lyrics a little to fit my sexuality. I was originally going to do an April Fools prank on my parents to come out to them.
I was going to run out to the kitchen when they were both in their and say, "Mom, Dad. I'm straight. April Fools!" then run back to my room and sing them the song.
I got a little to nervous to do the April Fools thing so I had them both come to the kitchen and I sang them the song. With my lyrics obv.
They were very supportive and gave me big hugs. I told them not to tell anyone without my permission. They said they wouldn't. I'm so happy they took it well!
I only came out to them as Omnisexual tho. Not Omni-romantic and not Ace. I don't want to hear the same lame things I hear every time I tell someone that I'm Ace.
3. Young Ace Troubles
UGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!! I've come out to 2 people irl as ace and they are so annoying about it! I came out to my bff Clio and my sister/friend Anna. We aren't really sisters but she is like a sister to me.
When I told her I was ace she told me I was too young and someday I am going to have "desires" and stuff. She said all the normal bullshit that young aces hear. Sorry for my language but I'm angry!
She also said that there were only 2 "mental genders" and 2 bio genders. Their are actually 4 biological ones and a whole bunch of other "mental genders" as she likes to call them. She said that nb isn't a gender.
She has a friend who's nb that doesn't want to be on the gender spectrum so there for in her mind nb isn't a gender. What she is saying sounds like agender to me.
Nb is a gender to most of the people that identify with it, as are most of the other identities that are not male or female.
Still, everyone has their own definitions tho and we must respect that. If you like the label nb but your definition of it is the definition of agender that's okay!
But saying that something isn't a gender even tho it is to most people is kinda mean. That's invalidating a lot of people.
Yes I know that nb is an umbrella term, but to some people it isn't. I don't really know what I'm talking about since I am female but all the nb people I know feel what I described.
Please correct me if I'm wrong! Sorry if I offended you with what I said! I'm just saying what I've heard. So please correct me if I'm wrong!

1. You are reading this.
2. You are human.
3. You can't say the letter "p" without separating your lips.
4. You just attempted to do it.
6. You are laughing at yourself.
7. You have a smile on your face and you skipped number 5.
8. You just checked to see if there was a number 5.
9. You laugh at this because you fell for it and everyone else did too.
10. Now copy and paste this to see who else falls for it too.
Question: Do you think there are only 2 "mental genders"? Have you ever had young ace troubles? Did you do anything for April Fools day? If so, what?
Day 15 of the LGBTQ+ comment challenge: Worst habit?
My answer: I have a problem with picking my nails. Not biting, picking. I've had that problem since I was in 2nd grade. I do it when I'm nervous or bored. It's something I've been working hard to get over. My record is going a whole month without picking my nails!
