(Forgot to mention Izuku is a bit shorter in this and Tokoyami and Kaminari are taller because of the height difference😌💅🏽 So Izuku is the second shortest boy after Mineta and yes I'm including Mineta fight meh😗🔪)

Izuku sat in recovery girls' office watching the news and eating grapes. Tokoyami and Kaminari sat with him every day after school doing their homework and telling him what they had learned that day. Izuku was always a fast learner so most days he ended up helping them. Though he didn't mind, he felt he had to pay them back somehow.

It was obvious they were the ones who had found him. He'd be dead if it wasn't for them so he wanted to help them any way he could. Kaminari even brought him a new hoodie every day. Tokoyami had brought him a new notebook and pencils. Izuku heard a light knock and stayed quiet assuming it was another student. His curtains were pulled back slightly and he snapped his head in its direction.

Aizawa, Tokoyami, and Kaminari came over to his bed closing the curtains back. He's only talked to Dark Shadow since that night but they've found ways to communicate. They never once pressured him to talk and have been patient. He can't help but feel like it's not Genuine sometimes though. Like they're just making him feel safe until they get what they want from him.

"Hi!" Kaminari smiled at him.

"Hello Midoriya" Tokoyami bowed.

Izuku waved as Dark Shadow laid his head in his lap. Izuku tilted his head slightly confused as to why they were there. Yeah, it was Friday and the weekend now but they already visited him today. He waited patiently for them to talk petting Dark Shadow's head. Aizawa pulled a chair up to the bed and Izuku turned to him.

"Recovery Girl said you're well enough to leave the infirmary," Aizawa said and Izuku sighed in relief.

"Before you go I wanted to ask what happened. You were willing to eat and get your strength up so I don't think you want to....you know. If you're still not ready to talk about it that's completely fine. We care about you and don't want to pressure you." Aizawa said softly.

Izuku blinked several times registering what he just said. Did someone care about him? That was the first time anyone's said that to him and it honestly overwhelmed him. Tears welled up in Izuku's eyes startling the three. Since that night Izuku's face lacked emotion and his eyes were blank. Aizawa wasn't sure what he did but he hoped he didn't make things worse.

"Y-you......care?" Izuku's voice was small and shaky.

It took them a moment before they realized that Izuku had just spoken. Dark Shadow looked happy as he hugged the small boy. Kaminari immediately climbed into the bed hugging Izuku. Having gone through something similar when he was younger he knew those words meant a lot to him. Izuku hid his face in Kaminari's chest crying softly. Kaminari just rubbed the greenette's back trying to comfort him. Once Izuku calmed down he looked up at Kaminari.

"I w-wanna tell t-them," Izuku said quietly.

Kaminari nodded then moved beside him and grabbed his shaking hand. Dark Shadow snuggled up beside him for comfort. Izuku nervously looked at his lap for several seconds.

"I...don't want to...die. I-I don't really know why...I did it. I never went...that far before. I started to cut my wrist...a-and my mind just....went blank. I didn't realize what I did until I heard Sato. T-then Tokoyami knocked on the door. I got scared.....and tried to hide it. I was panicking and didn't even notice how bad it was. T-there was so much.....blood and I didn't know what to do. I-I just didn't want to die." Izuku said now sniffing.

Kaminari draped his arm over Izuku's shoulders. Izuku leaned against Kaminari's chest.

Dark Shadow smiled and patted Izuku's head, "You did good!"
