20: I'ɱ Sσɾɾყ

Izuku and Shoto met with Endeavor and a few of his sidekicks at the front entrance.

"You two will be with me but first you'll have to keep up" Endeavor boomed taking off.

Izuku hesitated and Shoto noticed, "Are you ok?"

It's fine Izuku just do it. Being afraid will get you nowhere.

"Im fine" Izuku mumbled crouching down.

After swiping his finger across his shadow for several seconds large wings sprouted from his back.

"Is that...painful?" Kido asked.

"It's excruciating"

Without another word, he was gone with the flap of his wings. Shoto quickly followed suit, both of them catching up immediately. As he flew Izuku flipped around immediately shooting out black shadow-like ropes from his fingers. He twisted his wrist and reeled them in showing multiple unconscious villains wrapped up in them.

"I know you said to just observe but you would have missed them," Izuku said as they landed in a more secluded area.

"Well done Midoriya" Endeavor nodded.

"Looks like I'm falling behind," Shoto said inspired.

Burnin and Onima ran over to them panting, "Sir there's a fire and the fire rescue won't make it in time to help the people trapped inside." Burnin said urgently.

"Alright, I trust you two to get those villains to the police. Have Kido help you write your reports if needed. When you're done just head home, I'll meet with you once I finish with my duties." Endeavor said taking off after the boys nodded.

Izuku held out his hand and Shoto looked at him confused, "Huh?"

"Take my hand"

Shoto slowly grabbed Izuku's hand and they sunk into the ground. They arrived in front of the precinct and followed all the procedures. Once done with everything Izuku followed Shoto home, his anxiety spiking. Shoto notices this and tries to comfort him.

"You don't have to worry, my sister is the only other person who stays here and she's nice." Shoto slightly turned to him.

"Ok..." Izuku mumbled.

Once they got to the house, it was already past 8 o'clock. Izuku entered behind Shoto still uneasy as Shoto's sister greeted them.

"Welcome home- oh hi! I'm Fuyumi and you must be Midoriya?"

Izuku nodded and she smiled brightly, "Shoto talks about you non-stop! He's always going on and on about how you're his best friend and that you're so nice and that he'd be totally lost without you."

"F-fuyumi!"

"Honestly with the way he talks about you, I thought he had a crush on you or something." Fuyumi chuckled.

"I'll take these to the guest room," Shoto said embarrassed as he grabbed Izuku's bags.

"You know lately when he visits he seems kind of depressed, you two didn't fight did you?" Fuyumi frowned.

"U-uh no n-not really, I kind of confessed b-but he didn't see me t-that way. I was too e-embarrassed to face him s-so we haven't really talked s-since then." Izuku explained quietly.

"Ah, well I know how you feel. It's not easy being around him yet is it?" Fuyumi asked.

Izuku gripped his hoodie sleeve, "No," he said quietly.

"It never is but you'll eventually find someone who'll return those feelings." Fuyumi smiled at him.

He looked ahead quietly, "maybe" he mumbled.
