"Hey, Mido do you think you'll participate in the Sports Festival?" Kaminari asked the green-haired boy.
"Probably not...I don't think...I can" Izuku says quietly.
"Why not? You seemed eager when it was announced." Tokoyami says confused.
"We only have...One week left and...I still can't use my-....the quirk" Izuku says writing down the steps for a math equation.
Kaminari happily takes the paper thanking Izuku for helping him once again.
"Oh, that's right recovery girl still hasn't cleared you for training." Aoyama frowned.
"I can....still help you...get stronger" Izuku offered.
"Really! How?!" Kaminari shook the smaller boy slightly.
Dark shadow whacked Kaminari over the head making him wince and he glared at the shadow.
"My notes" Izuku dug in his bag pulling out his journal.
Tokoyami gently grabbed the Journal when Izuku flipped to his notes and held it open.
"These are very detailed, thank you Midoriya this will help a lot" Tokoyami thanked the boy.
"Don't...."
"What?" Tokoyami said confused.
"I didn't do.....anything so you don't....have to....thank me" Izuku mumbled.
Kaminari flicked Izuku's forehead and Izuku whined a little rubbing the spot.
"No more negative thoughts got it?" Kaminari scolded Izuku.
Izuku nodded still confused, "ok"
There was a knock at the door and Kaminari got up to answer it. Aizawa stood at the door and Kaminari looked at the man confused.
"Oh hi, Aizawa Sensei! Did you need something?" Kaminari asked.
"Yeah, All Might wanted to speak to Midoriya about something," Aizawa said looking in Izuku's direction.
Izuku nodded and got up walking to the door. Aizawa patted his head giving him a look before walking off. Dark Shadow immediately went up to the boy frowning. Tokoyami stood up coming over to Izuku.
"Will you be ok?" Tokoyami asked.
"Yes...can you...come get me...after in case I....take too long?" Izuku asked quietly.
"Of course!" Kaminari said with a thumbs up.
"....thank you"
"No problem"
Izuku gave them a small wave leaving the room and entering the elevator. On the way down he tugged at the sleeve of Kaminari's hoodie nervously. As the elevator stopped Izuku went to step out when a presence blocked his path.
He looked up to see Bakugo standing in front of the door. Izuku took a step back holding his head down waiting for him to move. Upon hearing Bakugo growl Izuku looked up startled.
Bakugo slowly raised his hand causing Izuku to flinch harshly. Bakugo chuckled darkly stepping to the side and out of the way. Izuku quickly walked out only to stumble over Bakugo's outstretched leg. Bakugo laughed louder as Izuku sped walked away too scared to say anything.
I want Kami and Toko, I can't do this. I'm scared, I don't want to be alone. But I can't keep bothering them because I'm weak. It's not fair to keep relying on them for everything. I have to do this on my own....or they'll leave me too.
