23: Iϝ Iƚ'ʂ Yσυ

Izuku and his class stood together as Yagi explained their rescue training exercise.

"Alright, our first group will be Midoriya, Iida, Ojiro, Mina, and Sero! Please get into position!" All Might announced.

Sero patted Izuku's head and grinned, "Let's take first and second place"

Izuku nodded, "You better keep up, I'm actually going to try."

Sero gasped, "Are you being competitive?"

"Yes, for some reason I'm in a good mood."

"Well don't hold back"

The race began and Izuku once again released the rope-like black substance and began to swing from pipe to pipe. Sero scoffed and chased after him leaving behind his confused classmates. The class looked at the three remaining students confused.

"Uh, the race started" Sato pointed out.

They immediately snapped out of their dazed state and took off. Izuku used his sensing abilities to locate All Might. Sero caught up to Izuku now swinging beside him.

"Did you really just copy my moves?" Sero raised an eyebrow.

"It's not copying if I do it better" Izuku stuck out his tongue and left Sero behind.

The tape user chuckled to himself as he continued on. He was just happy that Izuku was starting to act childish. That just shows how much he's starting to heal. He sped up and followed after Izuku.

He caught up once again and it became a race between the two to see if he could take first place. It was a close call but Sero beat him by a millisecond. Sero used his feet to slide to a stop. Izuku, who never practiced his landing, crashed into him though they barely moved since Izuku was so light.

Izuku started to giggle and Sero cracked a smile as he placed Izuku on the ground. Izuku used his quirk to take them back to their friends. Izuku ran over to their group and bounced a little.

"Toko did you see I almost won" Izuku said happily.

The entire group just continued to stare at Izuku silently. Izuku grew confused and nervous as their faces started to blur.

"It's not like you won anything" Tokoyami rolled his eyes.

"What?" Izuku's smile slowly started to drop.

"Why would we be proud of you for losing?" Aoyama chuckled dryly.

Izuku looked back at Sero to see a dark look on his face. Izuku took a step back and bumped into someone.

He turned to see Kaminari, "K-kami? Why is everyone ac-"

Kaminari harshly grabbed Izuku by the throat bringing them face to face. Izuku tried to pry his hand away to no avail. Tears started to fall from his eyes as black dots danced across his vision.

"Why don't you understand that we hate you" Kaminari growled.

Fight back Izuku! If you don't you will die! Are you so weak that you can't kill someone to save your own life? Why aren't you listening to me? I SAID KILL HIM!

Izuku looked into Kaminari's eyes as he let his hands drop to his sides.

"I-I can't do that, " Izuku mumbled "If I h-have to die a-at least it was y-you. Take care o-of Toko f-for me. I love y-you both."

IZUKU!

Izuku's eyes shot open and he began to hyperventilate. He held his head as he began screaming.
