Anyway, I didn't know when I'd be able to publish again so I couldn't leave Marzia on the brink of death would deciding whether she'd die or not...yep...

(I seriously almost wrote Anthony's POV. I think that's enough Ianthony reading for today. Sorry, I'm interrupting your reading. ENJOY!)

Felix's POV

"Marzia...please wake up...I can't do this without you..." I sobbed.

I felt for her pulse again and this time, I could feel a tiny, weak beat. She still wasn't breathing, however. But it gave me hope that Marzia was not gone forever yet.

Paramedics appeared on the scene and placed her on a stretcher and into the ambulance. They helped me in, and after a quick check they left me alone.

-TIME SKIP TO HOSPITAL-

Marzia's POV

I woke up. Or did I? I could see. Does that count as waking up?

Felix was sitting next to me, crying silently.

"Felix?" I called to him softly. I realized he could not hear me. I looked down, and saw myself asleep. Wait, what? I could definitely look around and hear, but I was also definitely unconscious.

"They got you breathing Marzia...and you're due for a blood transfusion soon...but they say...the rest is up to you...Marzia....please..." Felix gasped out. Suddenly, I felt a sudden pull and the world split in two. Dark purple and black swirled peacefully one one side, while light shone on the other.

"Left and right...light and darkness...life and...death..." I murmured quietly.

I felt the darkness pulling me in. Though it seemed scary, it was also strangely peaceful. I was almost tempted...

The two doors faded slightly, allowing me to see the world as it was. There was Felix. As much as I wanted to leave this world and be at peace forever, I knew I couldn't leave Felix. Suddenly, doctors came into the room. They placed my body on a stretcher and carried me away, while he left to go sit in the waiting room. I felt a pull as they carried the real-world me further away from me. So I was still connected to my body...somehow...

I watches them hook me up to a machine and begin to pump blood inside me. I felt the light grow stronger, and I edged towards it.

-TIME SKIP TO AFTER THE BLOOD TRANSFUSION-

I was back in my bed, and Felix was beside me again.

"I just want you to wake up...please....I love you!"

I sighed. I started moving towards the light again. It seemed easy, only a few meters, but it felt like I was dragging 3 tons of pressure. As I struggled, the pressure only increased, until it slowly began pulling me to the black door.

Felix's POV

There was the steady beating of her heart monitor.

It took me a split second to realize it was gone. Marzia had flatlined. In a moment, the room was filled with doctors and nurses. Two male nurses grabbed me and dragged me out.

"Is she going to live? SHE HAS TO LIVE!" I screamed.

Marzia's POV

I was almost at the jet black door. And yet, somewhere, faintly, I could hear Felix screaming. There were only seconds between me and death. The door opened, and I knew I was gone.

I took one last look at the door made of light, and I could see Felix. He was laughing, reaching out a hand to help me out of bed. Except this time, it was death that kept me back, not sleep. I reached out, and to my astonishment, I made contact. Felix began to pull me and I broke free of the deathly grip. I moved toward the light, faster and faster until I was running, running towards the one man I ever loved. I couldn't leave him like this. It was not my time. I threw open the door of light, and sprinted through it.

My eyes flew open and I sat up, breathing heavily.

It was just a dream!

Except it wasn't. Doctors all stared at me with their mouths hanging open.

"How did you...?"

"I woke up. I don't know how I did it or what happened," I answered, almost nonchalantly.

"You had a 10% chance of living."

"Wh-what?" Normally, you wouldn't tell this to a patient. But I could tell they were so shocked, those rules just kind of went out the window.

"Felix?" I questioned. One of them nodded and gestured. A second later, Felix flung open the door.

"OHMYGODISSHEOKAYICANTLIVEMYSELFIFSHESDEAD---" he screeched hysterically.

"Felix!" I cried out happily. Felix saw me, and ran next to my bed. The doctors filed out the room, promising to be back in a few minutes.

I kissed him. He kissed back for a few minutes, and then he pushed me away, holding my shoulders.

"Never do that to me again," he choked out, tears running down his face.

"Never."

He studied my face for a moment. "I really thought I lost you. You shouldn't have done that...it should've been me."

"No..." I said. Felix finally gave up and hugged me.

"I love you, Marzia."

"I love you too."

A/N: Yay! Happiness! Okay, well, I said a lot at the beginning, so I'll just shut up now. 2 more chapters maybe?

Love you all, my Sprinkles!
