Marzia POV
"No! Not again! They locked you up!" I screamed at Dan.
"You thought that would stop me? Ha!"
Felix lay on the floor, while Dan advanced menacingly, brandishing a crowbar.
"GOT YOU NOW!"
"NO!!!!!!!!!!" I screamed, and jolted awake, sitting up immediately.
Felix POV
I heard a scream and woke up.
"Marzia? Are you okay?"
"Yeah...it was just a nightmare," she answered shakily.
"Don't worry, he'll never hurt you again," I murmured soothingly, and stroked her hair, "Let's go back to bed. It's only 5AM."
She nodded, and slowly sank back into the pillows, and snuggled up to me.
3 hours later...
Marzia POV
Even though it was just a nightmare, I felt like something bad was going to happen today. It had been 2 and a half months since Dan was put in prison, so why was I worried?
After I made breakfast, I went downstairs to Pewds' gaming room.
"Felix?"
"Huh? Oh, hi, Marzia. I'm about to start recording."
"I know. I just wanted to tell you that I'm going to go to the supermarket to get some groceries."
"Okay. See you soon," he kissed me. I smiled and went back upstairs. Just as I got ready to leave, I heard his telltale, "How's it going bros? My name is...Pewwwwwdiepie!"
An hour later...
I rang the doorbell, far too lazy to reach my keys. I waited patiently for Felix to come up and answer the door. A few minutes passed, and nothing happened. Felix never did this. Even if he was recording, he just edited it out.
I tried the door, and found, to my surprise, it was unlocked. I remembered locking it, and he never forgot either.
"Felix?!" I called out in the silent house," Felix?"
All I could hear were the sounds of the pugs milling about on the floor.
I went downstairs almost silently, holding my breath. I could hear the sound of footsteps, but they were much more pointed and louder than Felix's. They were the clicking of high heels. I descended down the last few steps like a ghost.
Suddenly, I saw Felix and a lady in a red dress and said heels (which were also red) kissing.
"N-n-n-no.." I breathed out. I could feel my heart shatter into a billion pieces. Just as I turned to leave, I noticed something.
Felix's arms were tied behind the chair, and so were his feet. Therefore, if he was doing it willingly, there would be no need for restraints. A moment later, the lady broke away from the kiss.
"No! Get away from me! Why do you have to interfere? We've been through enough!" I heard him yell, from my hiding spot on the staircase.
"Well, you can't get away that easily. If I were you, I would shut up and give me what I want. As soon as she comes down, you will kiss me, or I will kill her. Then, you will write a note saying that you love me now. Otherwise, you will suffer." I heard the woman drawl out.
"Never! Just go away, Tracy! It would've never worked out between us--" Suddenly, the lady--Tracy, I suppose--pulled out a knife that could kill. All I could do was watch in horror as she carefully made a cut across his wrist. Felix screamed.
"That's it, you're coming with me." She roughly dragged him off the chair, and began making her way to the staircase. I sprinted upstairs, utterly lost. All I knew was that I couldn't let this happen.
"You!" I heard her yell as she came up the stairs. "You see, Felix is mine! Step away, or I will kill you."
"Marzia...no..." I heard him whisper. I sprinted into the kitchen, and I could hear her allow Felix to crash to the floor, and then the sound of footsteps moving closer to me. Suddenly, I felt rage in my heart, like I had never heard before. I opened the kitchen drawer, and grabbed two things, then waited for her to run into the kitchen. She snarled like a wildcat, but I nimbly jumped to the side, and dodged her, ending up back in the hallway where Felix lay.
I could hear her advancing.
"He would've never loved you, you worthless wretch."
"SHUT UP! WHY CAN"T YOU JUST LEAVE US ALONE!" I bellowed, surprising even myself. She pulled out her knife and pointed it at me. I smirked.
"B***h, you better not come any closer," I roared, using a swear word for the first time in my life. It felt wrong, not in my nature, but I had no choice. I revealed the two objects I had been holding behind my back.
"You have a knife? Hah! Your puny knife is pathetic! Now leave. If you come anywhere near us again, I will not hold back," I growled, brandishing two very sharp, and very big kitchen knives. I usually used these for cutting meat, and of course I wouldn't use them on a person, but I needed to scare her. Badly.
For the first time, Tracy looked scared.
"Okay, okay...I've lost...I won't bother you again," she muttered, shrinking away from me.
"Drop the knife," I commanded. It fell to the floor, and she slunk out the door in fear. I collapsed, dropping both weapons. I would never hurt a soul, but it was the only way. I shivered from the ordeal. It was just not in my nature to be aggressive.
"M-m-m-marzia?" I could hear Felix stutter weakly. I mustered up the strength to walk up to him, and used the knife one last time to carefully remove his bonds, my hands shaking. Finally, I got them off him.
He staggered to his feet.
"Come on, let me bandage that wound..." I whispered out. A moment later, I felt him hug me close.
"Never again, Marzia. Never again, I swear..."
