Weather the Storm

Chapter 10

A/N: Yes, there's notes at the beginning of the chapter. Deal with it, k? Anyway, le random time skip 6 days ahead. Enjoy!

Marzia POV

We were finally going home. I was so happy! Felix's back had mostly healed up and the gaping wound in my chest had been sealed. I quickly dressed up, throwing my hospital gown on my bed. I went to the lobby and waiting for Felix. 5 minutes later, he appeared in the doorway.

"Wow...my girlfriend dressing faster than me? Unbelievable!" his eyes widened, and we both laughed. I was so ecstatic that Felix had regained his sense of humor. I lightly punched him on the arm.

"Come onnnnn! I want to go home!" He smiled at me and pecked me on the cheek. We went to the parking lot and got in our car.

20 minutes later...

Marzia POV

I threw open the door gleefully. "Felix! We're finally home!" I called out to him, as he struggled up the stairs with our two hospital bags. I turned around and giggled.

"Weakling!" I teased, and and Felix grinned at me mischievously.

"You try lugging these things!"

"Nope!!" I laughed. He plopped them down on the floor and fell into an armchair.

"I'm done...and hungry..." he moaned.

"Let me fix something up."

I began bustling around the kitchen. Thank goodness we had visited the grocery store. My hands were still shaking, so I ended up ripping open a box of eggs, dropping some on the floor, but finally getting two in the pan. Felix was watching me from the kitchen table.

"Wow Marzia, you're almost as bad as that baking simulator I once played!" he teased. (A/N: Bonus points if you know what I'm talking about!!!!! Anyway...continue!)

"Yeah? Well you try doing it!" I smiled, just as I dropped the salt on the floor. Luckily, it was in the box, not the salt shaker. I could see Felix facepalm out of the corner of my eye. Finally, I tipped the half-burnt, awkwardly-shaped, extra-salty omelette into a plate and offered it to him.

"Marzia...no offense to...whatever that is...but I think it'd be better if we went out for dinner today..." he smiled, gesturing at the plate.

I laughed and threw the omelette out. "That sounds good. When are we going?"

"Right now. I'm starving!" Felix grabbed my hand and yanked us out the door, locking it.

"But...I need to brush my hair! It's a mess!" Felix reached into the back seat and produced a hairbrush. I smiled at him gratefully, and ran it through my hair, ripping half of it out.

Felix watched me with amusement. I glared at him and proceeded to comb his hair.

"Ow ow OW! Cut that out!" he cried, trying to avoid it.

"No." I declared flatly. "You're a mess. I had finally more or less smoothed his hair down. He wiggled away and turned the engine on, sticking his tongue out at me.

20 minutes later...

Marzia POV

Felix cast a critical eye over the menu.

"What are you getting?" he asked, looking up for a moment. I shrugged. I had an idea, but I wasn't sure if Felix would be open to it.

"Felix?"

"Mmmm?" he acknowledged me without looking up.

"Can we share?" I asked, then immediately blushed. We never shared meals.

He looked up at me, slightly surprised. Then his expression lightened and he smiled. "Sure. Let's share some spaghetti." He folded the menu and looked at me. I gazed into his ocean blue eyes. Felix was perfect. No matter what I said, what I did....he understood and always loved me no matter what. The waiter came and lit the lamp that was between us. I intertwined my fingers with his.

"I love you, Felix," I whispered.

"I love you too, Marzia," he answered, as softly as me.

1 hour later...

Felix POV

We were driving back home after a nice, filling meal. I enjoyed sharing with Marzia. It brought us closer, somehow. However, I still had one nagging thought at the back of my mind.

"Marzia?"

"Yeah?" she sleepily murmured, in her cute Italian accent.

"Do you still want to...you know...get married?" I asked awkwardly. She sat up immediately.

"Of course!" she cried, facing me, "Felix, how could you even think of that?"

I felt a little bit embarrassed, but I smiled all the same. Life couldn't be better.

A/N: THEY'RE GONNA GET MARRIED! Woohoo! I think I might do Kanthony next. I don't like Melian too much...and I'm not doing Pewdiecry or Ianthony. No. Anyway, hit that big old star button if you liked!!!

Brofist!
