Chapter 13

A/N: I just wanted to thank you all for the immense growth Weather the Storm is getting. 1K views! I can't believe it! Also, this is important. Weather the Storm is slowly drawing to a close. My best guess at this point would be...um....3-4 chapters left, possibly one last one as an epilogue.

Okay...HERE WE GO!

Marzia’s POV

I opened my eyes suddenly and squinted at the sudden bright light in the room.

“Wha…?” I asked, startled and yet still half asleep.

“Wake up, sleepyhead!” I heard Felix’s voice sing out.

“What? Why? Who’s dying? Why are you waking me up?” I said frantically, sitting up and rubbing my eyes.

“We’re going to the mall. Come on! Up you get!” he said cheerfully.

“Ahh…why….and why are you so…excited…stop that…” I giggled. As he slid into focus, I realized he was fully dressed. Felix almost skipped over to the bed and lifted me up.

“Put me down!” I cried playfully.

“Will do!” Felix answered, and threw me back down on the bed, arms flailing. I landed with a soft bump and kept laughing.

“Anyway, why are we going to the mall exactly?”

“Just because. I’m bored. You’re bored. I already shot the two videos for today, so we have the whole day.”

“Awwww! Okay then, let me get dressed!” I said, touched that Felix was taking me to the mall. I knew how much he hated shopping.

20 minutes later…

After getting to the mall, we shopped for hours. We had arrived at 10AM, and only left at 3PM. I made sure that I went to a mix of beauty stores that I liked, and “accidentally” walked into gaming stores, where I would end up making Felix choose a game. I ended up with at least two bags of beauty supplies, and four of clothes. Felix ended up with a whole bunch of new games, and another PS4 controller.

“That was a ton of fun! Thank you!” I cried once we were in the car, and leaned over slightly, kissing him. He giggled lightly.

“Ready to go home?”

“Yeah.”

I felt my eyelids getting heavier and heavier, until at last I gave up and fell asleep.

Felix’s POV

I noticed Marzia had fallen asleep. She looked so cute and sweet asleep, I couldn’t resist a smile. I focused on the road. We were only a few miles away.

Out of nowhere, a car barreled towards us. It took me a split second to register we were about to crash at 90 mph. I tried to swerve, but the drunk driver was coming straight for us.

“Marzia!” I screamed her name just before we collided. She awoke in record time, and moved like a cheetah. We had about 7 seconds before collision, but time seemed to slow down. I watched her unbuckle her seatbelt, reach over and unbuckle mine.

“MARZIA! WHAT ARE YOU DOING??!” She looked up for a split second, mouthed I love you

And unlocking my door, shoved me out of the car. I went flying, and then I heard a loud bang.

“NO!”

I could feel a splitting pain in my collarbone, but I didn’t care. I dragged myself to my feet, and staggered over to our car. The other one had gone off the road, plunging into the abyss below. The car was absolutely smashed. The front of it was gone, all the windows were broken. I dived into the wreckage, searching for her. Sighting her brown hair, I lifted metal out of the way and dragged her out.

I checked her wrist, where I always felt her blood moving when I held her hand.

Nothing. I began to panic. She wasn’t breathing. She had no pulse.

She was dead.

I could dimly hear the sound of sirens in the distance. But none of that mattered. The fact remained that my one true love, Marzia Kjellberg, had sacrificed herself for me.

A/N: WOW this is depressing. Everything I write is depressing. Don’t Leave Me is depressing. This is depressing. AHHHHHHHHH make it stop.

Love you all, my Sprinkles.
