Peter's pov

Please don't be home Aunt May please don't be home. I say to myself. Opening the door. "Hey Peter" May says. She's home.. "how was scho- oh who's this" she gestured to y/n "I'm y/n" she replies. "She's cute" "Mayyy" I role my eyes. She is cute but we just met. I look over at y/n whose smiling. Her smile is perfect... God peter we just met stop thinking about this. "We have science homework May." "Okay. Well keep your door open" she calls up as me and y/n walk upstairs.

Y/n pov

Peter's room is small. But welcoming. We sit in his bed and pull out our science work. He starts catching me up on what I've missed. It's been 4 hours since we started "y/n would you like to stay for dinner?" May calls up. "Um sure if its alright with Peter" I look over to him "Of course you can stay- She's staying May" he yells. "Why do you call your mom May?"he look down. "Um May is my Aunt. My parents died a couple years back" "oh I'm sorry." "Its ok y/n what about your parents are they not wondering where you are?" I look down. I don't want to lie to Peter so I tell him the truth "My mon is dead she died when in was 2. And I don't even know who my dad is they never found him when she died so I was raised in an orphanage until I ran away and moved here." "Oh wow y/n I'm sorry." He gives me a side hug "it's okay Peter. Moving here was pretty easy I got my own place with the money I had been saving up and I got a job at a coffe shop and I'm making friends." I smile "well I'm happy you're settling in well." We talk for the next 20 minutes until may calls us down for dinner. We had pizza. I stay for a little longer after then I go home "bye May bye Peter thanks for having me over" I say opening the door "bye y/n" they says in unison. About 20 minutes later I'm at home I go to feel my power damping ring and it not there. Shit. Shit. Shit. I must have came off at dinner. I have to get that before I lose control of my powers...
