Head Under Water

Chapter 17

Annabeth woke up the next morning on the floor, wrapped in a dark grey fuzzy blanket. Her head hurt from a massive hangover, which almost made her walk around Percy's room without a top on.

Luckily the room was cold, and Annabeth quickly realized due to the cold air on her skin. She snuck around, trying to find her clothes quickly as she heard Percy in the shower. She was able to find her shirt, but not her bra, so she quickly threw it on just in time before Percy exited the shower and came back to his room fully dressed.

"Morning Annabeth" Percy said as he put his towel in his clothes bin. "How did you sleep?"

"Percy, what happened???" Annabeth said as she held her head in her hands. "Did we... uhm..."

"No, we didn't, you were drunk, so I gave you the bed and I slept on the floor. Unfortunately, you started stripping and fell on top of me during the night." Percy explained. "It wouldn't be right if I took you while you were drunk."

Annabeth felt a deep blush crawl up her face, and Percy realized the embarrassment that she must have felt, wrapping her in a tight hug. "Hey, it's fine, it was an enjoyable experience non the less."

Annaebth broke away from the hug still blushing furiously. "C-can you give me a minute? I need to find my bra..."

Percy nodded and left the room, heading downstairs to get some breakfast for him and Annabeth.

She panicked and searched the room, digging under the blankets until she finally found her bra, putting it on, and going into Percy's bathroom trying to fix her messed up hair, but to no avail.

Percy came back up and knocked on the door to his room. "Are you decent?"

"Yeah" Annabeth yelled back as she exited the bathroom

Percy came into the room with 2 plates of pancakes, with some syrup and powdered sugar. "Here you go milady" he handed her one of the plates

"Thank you kind sir" Annabeth replied in her most fake british accent and laughed

They ate in silence, Percy occasionally sneaking glances at Annabeth.

"Percy, stop looking at me and just kiss me" She looked up at him

Percy set his plate to the side and Annabeth did the same as Percy passionately kissed her, surrendering themselves to the other.
