The paper had something written on it, in a very neat gray gel pen. The words were perfectly spaced. "Are these the answers?" He was confused, and surprised at the gesture. "He just wrote them on the board, how..."
"I felt bad, ok? Now shut up, seaweed brain, and just accept it." She snarled. Percy slumped in his seat, put his earbuds in, and put his hood up. The music drowned out the world around him. He didn't want this girl's pity, he didn't even want to be here.
Perspective switch: Annabeth
'Why did I snap at him? He hasn't even done anything' she scolded herself in her head. She reached her hand out in an attempt to apologize , but saw some of her "friends" watching the scene. So she lightly flicked the side of his head, but very much over exaggerating it for effect.
"You're gonna get me in trouble." She said, trying her best to look angry for her "friends" but also trying to send a silent apology to Percy. He didn't catch on. He slowly took his earbuds out, put them in his hoodie pocket, and lowered his hood. He returned to looking at the book, confused and obviously hurt. They didn't talk, didn't even look at each other. Both just stared blankly into their books. 'I wonder if I can catch him between classes and explain what I did' Annabeth thought to herself. 'He'll understand why I had to do it. He definitely will' but her thoughts were cut short by the bell, and Percy quickly got up and left. 'Where do you think you're going?' Annabeth quickly got up and tried to follow him, ignoring the calls of her so-called "friends" as she dashed after him.
So, happy belated birthday to Percy, i was planning on updating yesterday, but I got caught up in school work and stuff. Pls forgive me.
