His alarm went off, and Percy begrudgingly got out of bed. He slowly moped his way to the bathroom and brushed his teeth. He changed into a navy blue hoodie, with light grey jeans. Then he walked downstairs to the kitchen. He could smell waffles as he walked. "Morning Mom" Percy said as he eyed the plate of blue waffles on the table. Sally took another waffle out of the waffle maker and set it on the plate.
"Percy, eat, before they get cold" Sally said as she handed him a plate.
Percy took the plate and grabbed 2 waffles and a fork before sitting down. Then percy realized it was oddly quiet, looking around for Paul.
"Mom, where is Paul?" Percy asked as he set his fork down.
"He went in early, he's working out the details for your tutor" Sally replied
Percy groaned as he finished his waffles and set this plate in the dishwasher. "Then I better get going, or i'll be late" He gave his mom a hug, slung his bag over his shoulder, and rushed out the door, grabbing his skateboard from next to the door.

He got to class just as the bell rang, and sat in his usual seat. The class seemed like a blur, and Percy barely remembered any of it. When 3rd period finally rolled around, he was ready to just leave, its was torture. He went to take his usual seat in the back of the class, and was surprised to see the blonde from yesterday in the seat next to his. He ignored her and set his bag down, taking out the copy of "The Odyssey" that he was given.
Paul walked into the room and instructed everyone to get in their groups and to continue reading. Then to answer the few questions that he had put on the board. Percy wrote the questions down so he could do them later, and opened the book to where he had left off last time. But he was interrupted by a hand pushing the book down. The blonde, whose name was apparently "Annabeth", handed him a piece of lined paper. Percy opened it, and it took him a moment to realize what he was looking at. He looked at her and said. "Wait... what?!"
