|| Chapter Twelve ||

As they progressed further into the tunnel-like plunge, Naruto's eyes widened and he began screaming. "Ahh! Sasuke!" He shouted as the floaty rounded corners and looped around in the dark.

"I'm going to die... I'm going to die... I'm going to die..." He murmured to himself.

When they reached the pool at the bottom of the drop, he let out one last yell. "I'm going to die, Sasuke!"

With a small grunt, Sasuke jumped off the floaty and into the pool. He snatched Naruto and tossed him like a potato sack over his shoulder. "I'm going to lose my hearing because of you."

"Sasuke, that was terrifying!" Naruto whined, tears streaming down his cheeks, ignoring Sasuke's remark.

"Idiot, stop acting like a baby." He put Naruto on the cement before returning to the water to retrieve the floaty. He took it and put it where they got it before returning to Naruto. "C'mon what do you want to do now? No more water slides though." Naruto agreed with a nod.

"Let's just go back to the pool," Naruto suggested and Sasuke nodded.

They both walked back to the pool and Sasuke came to a halt in front of the blond so he could grasp his shoulders. "Are you ready?"

"Yeah," Naruto grabbed the raven's shoulders. "Let's go!" He pointed forward with one hand while the other gripped Sasuke's left shoulder.

"If you act like I'm a horse again, I swear I'll let you drown." He made a threat.

Naruto laughed. "Thank you, Sasuke,"

"Hn." Sasuke blushed and averted his gaze.

As Sasuke swam around the pool, Naruto took in his surroundings. "Look, there's a floaty!" He motioned to a floaty with a donut shape. He lowered his gaze to Sasuke. "Could you get it for me?"

Sasuke huffed and rolled his eyes. "All right."

He swam over to Naruto's floaty and assisted him in getting on. Naruto grinned. "I'm so high up! I can see everything from up here! He lowered his gaze to Sasuke. "Can you push it?"

Naruto felt a shiver run down his spine as Sasuke grinned mischievously. "Sasuke...?"

Before vanishing into the water, Sasuke smirked. Naruto's eyes widened when he saw his figure moving in the water until it vanished underneath him and he felt a tug at his feet. "Ah, Sasuke! What the hell—" He squealed, and before he knew it the floaty was tipping over.

He flipped over, face-first into the water. His eyes widened and the sound of others talking that he heard before he tipped over was now muffled as he was filled with terror. He moved his legs and arms around as he tried to swim or grab onto something.

Suddenly, two arms wrapped around his abdomen and pulled him up to the surface. His head sprung up and he took a full breath, breathing in and breathing out profoundly. When he got it together he was going to shout at Sasuke however was hindered by... laughing?

Naruto's eyes enlarged. He puffed and turned away, his cheeks turning a light shade of pink. "Stupid bastard..."

Sasuke's laughing subsided and he murmured. "Sorry if I scared you, I couldn't resist."

"Whatever.." He pursed his lips and turned to face Sasuke and he utilized his body again to get to his back. "I have trust issues now."

"I won't do it again, I promise. Want me to get the floaty for you again?"

Naruto rolled his eyes. "I don't trust you."

Sasuke snickered at that. "Good choice."

Naruto put his chin on Sasuke's shoulder as he closed his eyes. "This is relaxing."
