I Already Know

Izuku POV

It was now a couple of days before the trip and I was talking to Lulu in the kitchen when Sally ran up to me. "Izu! Slendy said to go to his office. Also when you're done, can you play princess with me and Lazzie?" Sally said slightly out of breath. I assume she means Lazari and that they must've already dragged Lost Silver into playing with them too. After reassuring the brunette and leaving her with Lulu, I head to Slendy's private office.

His office was pretty simple yet had a fancy touch to it like the rest of the mansion. Slender, his brothers, and Lolli were already there as I took a seat next to the fox-demon. "I miss anything? Why do you guys seem nervous?" I asked to which Lolli just said no then shrugged, looking for the same answer. The brothers were stiff like they were waiting for something bad to happen. "Izuku, we thought it was finally time to tell you this. As you know, Zalgo is the current ruler of the Underworld but-" said Slender but he got interrupted.

"But you're the true king!"

"Splendor, you wasn't supposed to say it yet!"

"Sorry, Offender.....I just got so excited!" Splendor said, slightly bouncing in place.

Before they could start an argument, I decided to step in. "Yeah......um, I already know. Why were you guys so nervous in the first place?" The four froze then instantly relaxed. I could tell this was bothering them for a while. "Well we didn't know how you would react nor how exactly we would have to explain it. Now that we know that you don't have to get filled in on everything, how did you even find out?" Slender asked. I nervously chuckled. "It's kind of a long story...." I said, trailing off at the end. He would be pissed if he found out that I was involved in Hosu. Slender waved his hand at my answer as if swatting a fly. "Nevermind then. For all I know, you could've found out by robbing someone and found out on accident." This time both me and Lolli started to chuckle, knowing he wasn't particularly wrong.

Slender then continued. "I also wanted to tell you to be careful. You are going into unclaimed territory but the surrounding claimed territories are owned by rather peaceful spirits and creatures. Be on guard. You can leave." We both nodded our heads then left out of his office. Lolli probably left to her room or to hang out with Toby.
Every powerful creature has it's own territory that they have control over so unclaimed territory is like a free for all. Anyone could claim it and until then, there's no kind of restriction for the supernatural in that area. I ran a hand through my green and black curls then sighed. A buzz brought me out of my current thoughts. Apparently Todo-kun decided to text me.

Peppermint🔴⚪: Are you free 2morrow? If so, meet at Belle Ame restaurant at 5.

I snorted at how blunt the invite was but didn't try to reply back. Why not leave it as a surprise if I show up or not? I silently groaned when I realized that it was a fancy restaurant and I would probably need Trender's help with an outfit.

Well that's an issue for future me. I shouldn't keep Sally waiting anyway.

Third POV

Meanwhile~

"Time for another session~" said Zalgo in a sickly sweet voice. When he teleported into the room, he saw his current plaything to be no where in sight. Zalgo did untie him since it wouldn't be any fun if AFO didn't squirm or try to run. Zalgo would torture him until he's at death's door, leave for a couple of days, then come back and do it all over again. Following the trail of dried blood, Zalgo found a big hole in the top darkest corner of the room. 'So he decided to climb then dig his way out?' Zalgo thought to himself as he examined the wall.

Zalgo didn't really care that he escaped. AFO was nothing more than a plaything to the demon afterall. For all Zalgo knew, AFO could already be dead from the blood lost or from the wildlife in the area. Now that his entertainment was gone, he decided to move his attention to his plans.
