Festival and Waffles

Izuku POV

UA had us stay home for the last couple days to give us a break and today was when we go back. Me and Lolli were eating some waffles I found in the back of the fridge before we left. I was drinking the last of my juice  as I heard a familiar yell that almost made me choke.

"W-WHERE ARE M-MY W-WAFFLES?!"

Uh oh....

We both looked at each other with wide eyes, to our empty plates, then to the kitchen door. I felt a tug on my arm and next thing I know we were in front of the classroom door. "Looks like we're buying waffles after school." Lolli said while I nodded in response. Everyone was already here so at least we weren't late. I took my seat near the window but I felt eyes on me. I looked around and saw Peppermint staring at me. Todoroki was it? I think that was it. I guess he noticed that I caught him since he quickly turned away. Before I could confront him, the door opened to reveal a mummified Aizawa.

Of course everyone was concerned about him working in this condition but he claimed he was fine. "The Sports festival will be held two weeks from now so all classes will be training. This is your chance to be noticed by pros." Aizawa said. Even though his voice was muffled you could still understand him. The room was filled with excitement at the news. 'This should be fun..' I thought as class was ending for a new one.

~Timeskip to later~

School was over for the day and we stuck to our plan. Me and Lolli were walking from the store with a bag full of waffles for Toby. Hopefully he didn't destroy the mansion by now. 'How come I've never seen a Starbucks commercial?..' I thought as we passed by said building. A scream from a nearby alleyway brought me out of my thoughts. Sharing the same look, we quickly went onto the rooftops to see a woman getting robbed by a lowlife thug. We put our bags down then Lolli snapped her fingers. We both were instantly in our vigilant outfits. Mine was just a black shirt, ripped jeans, and a green bandana to cover my face.

"P-please...help me! The woman begged when she saw us jump down. The guy turned and sneered at us. "Ha! So it's the infamous Reaper twins? You think two kids can beat me?!"

I punched the guy away from the woman who immediately ran out of the alley saying a small thanks. The guy ran at me but fell on his face since a few knives were now stuck in his legs and back. "H-How?! I'm the fastest in this city!" He screamed while trying to crawl away from me and Lolli.
'Well that's a lie.." I thought as I stabbed him with my tail, making sure not to hit anything important. I pulled his head back so he can look both of us in the eye. "Sorry not sorry. Just reap what you sow~" I said, my voice going deep at the end. The guy paled and was shivering now, staring into two pairs of endless glowing green eyes. I ripped my tail out of his body, causing him to scream once again then go still.

Guess he passed out from the pain. Or maybe it was blood lost. We jumped back to the rooftop and changed in our uniforms again. Any trace of blood on us was gone now. "How long ya think the heroes are gonna take to find him?" Lolli asked as she grabbed one of the bags. "Maybe a day or two." I respond.

"I give a couple hours...."

A small smirk came across my face. "Wanna bet 10 bucks?" I ask as a smirk of her own appeared.

"Of course!" She said her tail wagging slightly. I chuckled as I picked up the other bag and we continued our way to mansion.
