Exposed

Izuku POV

"Where's that little brat?!"

Sensei held on to his scarf as he and the Wild Wild Pussy Cats got ready for a fight then we all ran outside to see the commotion. I heard some of my classmates scream while others stiffened at the sight. Me and Lolli weaved through everyone to see better and couldn't believe who was there. The Rake and Stripes were there, scanning the crowd, most likely looking for me.

"You are trespassing on private property. State your business or you'll be forcefully removed." Aizawa said, his eyes glowing red as a form of intimidation. Of course, they just ignored him.

Mandalay and the rest of her team moved to subdue them but was easily finished off. They laid in pile to the side in a matter of minutes while groans of pain emitted from them. A slight shiver ran up my spine as I thought about my past encounters with the Rake. I still have a couple scars from the creature. It was pacing back and forth behind Stripes with hungry eyes. I honestly should have known Zalgo would have bribed it over to his side. The Rake will do anything for a decent meal and there's currently a full feast in front of it. Stripes, on the other hand, was just following her 'Dear Father's' orders.

She was wearing her usual long red and white striped jacket with shorts and had brown hair, black horns, pinkish-red eyes, and mouths filled with sharp teeth across her face and body. Her hands were claws, her arms and legs a pure black that faded into her pale skin the further it went up her body. Knowing that Stripes nor the Rake couldn't wait to kill everyone here, me and Lolli decided to step up. Aizawa was about to stop us until we made eye contact. It was like an unsaid message went between us. You could tell how hesitant and conflicted he was about letting us go until he just sighed and nodded. When Stripes saw us, a devious smile appeared on her face.

"Ah, it seems the royal brat decided to finally show himself! I thought I would have to kill a few mortals and let the Rake start a feast to bring you out. And I see you have that little mutt with you too, huh?" Stripes said with a not so friendly teasing tone.

Lolli growled in response. "I'll show you a mutt....you living glory hole looking piece of-" Before she could continue, or better yet attack Stripes, I put a hand on her shoulder which slightly calmed her. Stripes just laughed. "If you come with me, it would save all of us some time. I wouldn't even have to clean my jacket from the blood of the fools behind you."

"No can do sweetheart also they have nothing to do with this. If you want me, just try to get me." I said with no room for any argument.

Stripes nodded at the Rake and I assume that was all it needed to speed towards everyone, it's jaws wide open. Before it could reach the class, it was knocked to the side by a purple fireball. "Didn't we just say, you ain't touching them?" Lolli said, with another fireball ready. As Lolli and the Rake started clawing at each others throats, it was now just a stare down between me and Stripes. I heard the cheers of a couple of my friends that came out of the shock while I also felt the worried gaze of Shoto.

Stripes was the one to strike first with her claws but I sidestepped it then kicked her in the side. Unfortunately, she caught my leg and threw me into a nearby tree. I angled my body to land on the tree correctly and bounce right of it to try to tackle her but missed. I rolled a bit to soften my landing. We both heard a roar then whimpering just in time to see the Rake bolt into the forest. Lolli was breathing heavily as she held her arm and had a slight limp to which Momo and Jirou helped her over to Aizawa. "That pathetic traitor......" I heard Stripes mutter under her breath.

While she was distracted, I leapt to tackle her again and succeeded this time. All you could hear was our growls as we rolled around biting, punching, and clawing at each other until I finally overpowered her. I held her wrists above her head with my other hand clenched around her throat and my legs pinning her own legs down. I was being careful of the mouths on her stomach and thigh, knowing full well she wouldn't hesitate to bite my ass.......literally.

"Any last words?" I asked slipping into my demonic voice and getting ready to burn her to a crisp. I was slightly panting and she had the nerve to smile at me then cough. "Go ahead.....kill me. Let them know........of the true....monster........they're friends with..." Stripes coughed up a little blood since I didn't realize my grip had tightened. As quickly as it tightened, it loosened as I got off of her. She turned on her side gasping for breath while coughing harshly into the grass. "I'm showing you mercy so leave now. And of course, tell Zalgo to kiss. My. Ass." I said with venom dripping in my voice.

Stripes slowly got up, holding her side  and scowled at me. She looked like she wanted to continue but also had a look that accepted this defeat. She knew if it wasn't for the current audience we have, she wouldn't be walking away right now to live another day. She grumbled as she hobbled into the forest leaving a trail of blood as she left. I sighed then turned to everyone else but froze when I saw the look on their faces. Some were still in shock, others were confused as hell, and then there were the ones who held pure fear in their eyes......the look I never wanted to see on their faces.

Fear.

It could've just been fear of what happened but thoughts instantly plagued my mind that the fear they were feeling was of me. That they really thought I was a monster. Then I caught sight of Shoto.

'Great, now he's freaked out by you and thinks you're a monster.'

No.....no he isn't. Shoto isn't like that. I know he will still care for me like always.

'You're sure? How can he love a disgusting useless monster like you?'

I felt my eyes burn with tears as these thoughts continued to consume me. I covered my eyes then summoned my wings and took off into the air. I just needed to get away. "Izuku, wait-" I heard Lolli yell but I ignored it.

Just let me get away.

School only been in for a couple of weeks now and it's already getting on my nerves......but till next time!
