Guess whose back~~
Sorry for the wait but after I got over my allergies, I hurt my hand so I couldn't really type well. Then sprinkle in some school exams, mental breakdowns and family issues, I was stressed.
Then I hurt my hand.......again but I'm fine now and I managed to make this chapter! Onto the story!

Izuku POV
Waking up to a loud ass alarm very early in the morning after a rather emotionally draining night really isn't what I planned. If I had the chance, I would've stayed cuddled against Shoto till noon, if not longer.
My classmates were just as unenthusiastic as I was. I let out a big yawn, trying to stay awake. The sleepy hobo that we call our teacher was talking about how we'll be focusing on training our quirks more. Well, in my case, just refine my abilities. Soon, everyone started working in their own little corner of the clearing. Shoto was freezing then boiling himself on repeat, Kacchan was trying to expand his sweat glands, Uraraka was literally just floating around, etc.
Meanwhile, in my little corner, I was sitting on the ground, waiting for Lolli. Aizawa-sensei couldn't really help train me so Lolli was my best bet but I haven't seen her yet. 'I swear if she somehow slept through that annoying alarm, I'll-'
Before I could finish my thought, I saw the fox-demoness walking over to me and she let out a chuckle. "Sorry for being a bit late! Uh......I got lost on the path of life?" I gave a 'really' look then sighed. Getting up, I asked "So, what are we doing exactly?"
She hummed and put a finger to her chin. "Good question. Any improvement with your shape-shifting?" She circled around me, looking me up and down. I shook my head. I won't deny that I haven't been practicing my shape-shifting as much as I should. I've noticed everytime I shape-shift, like when I transformed into a cat during training, that sometime afterwards I become really hungry. Poor Slendy, Splendor, and Trender had to make mutiple meals for me just to feel full for that day.
"I have a theory about my shadow traveling if that helps." I replied then started to stretch. A big grin grew on her face and I don't know if I should be concerned or not.
"Great, cause I have one about your shape-shifting."

I groaned under my breath. It was a couple days later and Aizawa-sensei said were going to do team building with 1-B. We basically had to scare one another as we walked through the woods at night. Personally, I just wanted to eat then pass out on my bed right now. Lolli finally shared her thought that I could possibly transform into people but it seems I can only do animals. Kacchan made a wonderful dinner for everyone but for me, it wasn't really enough. After shape-shifting all day, I could feel the side-effect of hunger growing by the hour.
At least my theory was right. Apparently not only can I travel through the shadows but I can also control them! It takes a lot of concentration though so that's something to work on.
I saw the kid who kicked kirishima in the jewels run out of the building then into the woods and one of the Wild Wild Pussycats came out with a look of worry. I think Mandalay was her name. I walked over to her then asked what's wrong. She sighed, "Kota ran off.....again. It's getting really late and I don't want him getting hurt."
I told her I'll find him then headed to the woods. After the Mokke greeted me, they took me to a large hill that overlooked the forest. I saw Kota sitting down near a ledge with a few more Mokke around him trying to comfort him, even though he couldn't see them. I plopped myself down next to him which spooked him.
"W-what are you doing here!? Aren't you supposed to be training with the other wannabe heroes??" Kota yelled, hurriedly shuffling away from me. I kept my eyes on the horizon as the sun slowly lowered. I remember Mandalay explaining Kota's situation and it reminds me of myself, made me feel sorry for the kid. "I understand what's it like to lose parents. Nobody deserves to go through that so young." I said. He flinched and was about to yell again but I cut him off.
"You may say I really don't but trust me, I do. Being mad at the world isn't gonna change what happened nor make you feel better. Your parents, the Water Horse Duo, died to protect everyone including you. I'm sure they wouldn't leave you on purpose and they're proud. If you want changes then do more to ensure it doesn't have to happen to anyone else."
My eyes finally turned to Kota to see him shaking with tears threatening to fall. He wanted to say something to retaliate but found himself speechless, knowing I was right. I know I probably sounded harsh but it wouldn't have gotten through to him if I wasn't. I sighed then offered a hug by holding my arms out. Next thing I know, Kota is wrapped in my arms as he finally let his tears fall. After he calmed down, we sat there in a comfortable silence and watched as the sky welcomed the stars. Unfortunately it had to come to an end.
I smelled the smoke first then saw part of the forest burst in bright blue flames. A villian attack? If so, really?? Another? Now!? "Let's go, Kota." I said as I got up from my spot. I heard heavy movement coming towards us then a voice.
"Well, well....look what I've found."
