Third POV
It was the weekend and Izuku was perched on the banister of the balcony of a certain peppermint boy's room, throwing pebbles against the window until he finally got his lover's attention. "Finally, Shoto-kun! I was running out of pebbles."
"Izuku? Why didn't you just come through the door?" Shoto asked in confusion as he leaned against the doorway. Izuku only smiled and held out a hand towards Shoto, a silent request to come with him passing between the two. Shoto looked between Izuku and his room for a moment before placing his hand into Izuku's waiting one, sending the greenette a small smile of his own. Izuku's smile seemed to widen as he tugged Shoto closer to him then leaped off the balcony with the icy-hot quirk user in his arms. Shoto let out a surprised yelp and held on as tight as he could to Izuku who let out a slight chuckle. They were high in the sky now, the sun beginning its descent, painting the sky in different shades of reds, oranges, purples, yellows, and pinks.
"You could have warned me!"
"Sorry, I couldn't help it! We're almost there."
True to what Izuku said, it didn't take much longer for them to land in front of a little soba shop, the lights from the inside making the nearby streets glow a warm golden color. Shoto's eyes lit up at the sight of the familiar shop. Even though it didn't look like many people were out and about on the streets in this district, the little soba shop was considered well known and was Shoto's favorite place to get soba.
Well, other than Fuyumi's or Izuku's soba anyway.
Shoto grabbed Izuku's hand, basically dragging the poor greenette behind him into the shop. The boys found themselves in a booth that was in the corner of the shop and other than when the waitress came by it was like the two was in their own little world. Trading soft words, kisses and paired with the food, just enjoying the other's company.
After they left the shop, Izuku flew them to the roof of a rather tall building then sat on the edge after setting Shoto down. Shoto didn't hesitant in taking a seat next to the green demon and laying his head on Izuku's shoulder. They stayed in a comfortable silence, watching the view of the night sky and the twinkling lights of the city beneath them. Shoto didn't even realize he was playing with Izuku's hand until he felt Izuku squeeze his hands. But, looking down at the greenette's hands caused Shoto to then raise an eyebrow in confusion and curiosity.
"Uh, Izuku? Why does it look like you have paint on your hands? How did I not notice it earlier??"
Izuku hummed then looked down to see what Shoto was talking about. Izuku's hands was stained in multiple bright colorful paints. Shoto couldn't even tell what all colors covered it. It was like he managed to dip his hands in a rainbow waterfall, and he couldn't wipe it off. Izuku had a goofy grin on his face. "The paint went through the gloves I used. Let's just say I was finishing a gift for someone. And I don't know? Maybe you were distracted by my dazzling arrival?" Izuku said then did a dramatic pose. Shoto snorted and shoved Izuku off the edge, the broccoli boy instantly spreading those red feathered wings to stay afloat at the roof level.
"Dazzling? If you call throwing rocks at my door like you're a woodpecker dazzling, I wonder what else you will call dazzling, you demon."
Izuku put a hand to his heart and faked an offended look, yet his grin never left his face. "Oh, how you wound me! I'm your demon and you know you love me."
"Hmm....well I wouldn't be too sure about that." Shoto said turning his head away from Izuku, hiding the smile threating grow to more than a small one. Izuku hummed again before quickly scooping up the half-and-half boy then shooting into the air, their giggles and laughter filling the night air.
