Well That's Definitely New

Izuku POV

I'm walking down the semi-dark street to the train with Izaya. Now you might be wondering, wait what happened with Shizou? Well when Shizou finally came up to me face to face, he whispered 'Call Celty' then passed out. I knew he lost a bit of blood but I still didn't think he lost that much. Guess I kinda forgot to hold back a bit since he still is a mortal, still human. It was interesting to meet a dullahan though and that doctor, Shinra was it? He was......eccentric to say the least. But then that whole thing with Celty......

~Flashback~

I got done dragging Shizou's body on the table and left that doctor to patch him up. As I was about leave a woman in a black leather jumpsuit caught my eye. Well her headless-ness is what really caught my eye. Black smoke was coming out of the opening of the neck. I think I remember Trender said something about her kind; dullahans but in my opinion they're just giant fairies. "I assume you must be Celty? I would stay and chat but I kinda left my stuff at the plaza." I said. It would be rude if I left without properly acknowledging her.

"Oh it's alright your majesty! Have a good day!"

~Flashback End~

I didn't think of it much but.....after that dream and what she meant kinda bothers me. I'm not even sure if the dream was real or it was just my mind still looking for closure after all these years. Celty seems like the type to literally not give a fuck about things. Not to count that whole your majesty thing. It sounded.....right, I guess? I don't know I could just be over thinking things. I shook my head slightly. Yeah right, it was just a dream, nothing more. Like I could ever be royalty to begin with.

Anyway I didn't realize we got off the train and I was already by myself. I basically had nothing to do until he's finished with this client. Wasn't the agency lida picked here in Hosu? I could check if he's doing better than when I last saw him. I don't even know if Hosu has any nighttime activities. I might even run into EJ or Toby since I think they hunt somewhere around here. I thought about it but quickly dismissed it. I don't really feel like getting blood over me because of EJ and I don't wanna explain that I'm covered in syrup because I was robbing Waffle Hut and IBOP with Toby......again.

Getting some boba tea seems like the best option........yeah that sounds good right about now. I was about to search up a few cafes that might be open.  Before I could though, a scream pierced through the night air, fire and different types of nomus were almost everywhere. Luckily I stopped walking right before I could enter the chaos in front of me. The sight itself was interesting to me though. A nomu had Endeavor by the leg and was swinging him into the ground like the Hulk did to Loki. Meanwhile I saw Lolli sitting on a building nearby as other heroes tried to stop the fires and keep the people out of the area. I quickly ran then climbed up the building and said "Aren't you supposed to be helping the flaming trash?"

"I would but he said he didn't need nor want any help so I'm just gonna sit here for another minute or two. Then I'll help." She replied with a sadistic smirk on her face. I was going to sit down with her and enjoy the show but a certain candy cane caught my eye. He looked to be following Iida into an alleyway? A bad feeling was slowly growing in the pit of my stomach as I keep staring at alleyway. After another minute or two, I couldn't ignore the feeling so I walked over to the opening and peeked around the corner. I saw Todoroki, lida, and some pro hero with the hero killer Stain. I know a bit about him since that's what almost everyone talked about lately. I'm glad I came in time too. Todoroki and off-brand sonic looked to be paralyzed while the actual Pro was knocked out. The noseless basturd was about to kill lida and before I could think, I grabbed the nearest object then summoned my wings and flew over to lida who was on the ground.

I knew I wouldn't have enough time to move him and dodge the incoming sword so I just wrapped my wings around us, closed my eyes and waited for pain. But it never came. I opened my eyes to see it was darker than usual under my wings. I unfurled them and instead of seeing my usual soft bright red feathers, I saw a hard blood red metal. Stain was looking rather shocked that his katana just broke. Just as suddenly as they turned metal, my wings changed back into their natural fluffy state. Well that's definitely new and I'm starting to have second thoughts about that dream.

Anyway Stain shook himself back to the present and looked at me. I guess he was trying to intimidate me but his bloodlust was almost laughable. It was like a baby trying to scare a lion to be honest. "Another false hero? Your life will end tonight with the other fakes." He stated, throwing away the broken blades and bringing out a new katana. I gripped the stop sign, which is the object I grabbed earlier, tightly in my hands.

"Bring it on, Bandages!"
