The void you left behind, speaks louder than words.
Peace of mind was once mine, I felt I could fly higher than birds.
You filled me with emptiness, and have left me blind in the dark.
My heart was once yours, and now all you've left me with is scars.
Everything was bright and nothing could stand in my way.
Now all I'm left with is the weight of night, and there's no sign of day.
You were my rainbow, the break from the storm.
Looks like Darkness is going to be the new norm.
Is love for fools? Or am I just too unlucky, to find someone that's cool?
They say there's plenty of fish in the sea, but sometimes I feel like I'm trapped in a pool.
If you're going to be a wolf, then stop using wool.

You broke down my bricks, now all I'm left with are sticks.
There's no room for my walls, and I'm sure I was stupid to fall.
My heart was once yours, and now all you've left me with is scars.
To remind me what hippieness was, I was forever grateful.
Then in a flash, you sent me right back to the past.
How can someone learn to love, when the darkness grows too vast?
