Monday morning is always for recovery. For this reason we didn't get up early to do any extra training today. I was relieved for this. Instead we got a little lie in. I was a little wary of what Lia and Katie were up to so i got up earlier than planned when I heard go downstairs."Are you moving in or something Katie" i said as I joined them in the kitchen
"Is that an invite" Katie responded
Lia was quick to shut that down "there's no room once Caitlin takes the spare bedroom"
Katie took the opportunity to wind Lia up "I'm sure Caitlin wouldn't mind sharing your bed Lia"
"You're so annoying" said Lia "I'm going to take her back in a little bit but we have something we have to do first"
"Interesting.. care to share?" I said trying to get them to tell me
Katie laughed at my efforts "nice try but not happening"
"Where's Jill?" Lia asked
"Still sound asleep" I replied
"Perfect" said Katie
"Do I need to be worried?" I asked
"Maybe a little" said Katie
"No you don't, she's trying to wind you up. It's a nice surprise" said Lia
I went back upstairs to get ready, Jill was still asleep so I jumped on the bed to wake her up.
"Fucking hell Soph" said Jill as she woke up "what did you do that for"
"You need to get up, we need to prank them" I said
"Who?"
"Katie and Lia, quick get into the wardrobe"
Jill was confused but still did it. I called the other two upstairs
"Quick quick" I screamed "Jill's gone"
"What do you mean?" Lia shouted back
They both came storming into our room.
"Where is she?" Asked Katie
"I don't know. Did she tell you she was leaving?" I asked pretending I didn't know exactly where she was.
"No" responses Lia
Katie and Lia were now stood directly in front of the wardrobe. Jill jumped out. Katie fell to the floor in terror. Lia burst out in frightened tears.
Jill couldn't stop laughing
"And to think i thought Katie was the most annoying" said Lia "Jill you can now take that honour"
"I feel privileged but I can't take the credit it was all Sophie" Jill owned up
"The pair of you are a nightmare" said Lia "right shall we get going Katie"
"Yes, I don't want to stay here any longer or they might give me another heart attack"
Lia dropped Katie back to her house so she could get ready for the afternoon recover session. This meant that Jill and I went to the training ground alone. In the car we were discussing what the other two were planning. Neither of us had any idea what they might of been up to.
We pulled into the training ground car park. Most of the girls were already here. On our way to the changing rooms we went past the social room where most the girls were. We popped our heads around the corner to find people putting up banners.
"What are you up to?" I asked laughing at them
"What the hell, why are you early? You've ruined the surprise" said Leah
"Shall we go back outside and come in again as if we saw nothing" Jill suggested
"Yes!" Said Jordan
We went back out and came in again. This time I paid attention to what the handmade banner said. 'Out loud and proud'
"We know you didn't mean to come out publicly yesterday but we are still super proud of you" said Jordan "it's something I haven't felt comfortable doing it yet"
I looked at Jill with a big smile on my face. "Don't look at me this is all about you" said Jill "everybody already knows I'm gay as fuck"
There was a cake and everything. It definitely wasn't from a bakery someone had made it which was even more special
"How did you do this at such short notice" I asked
"Team effort" said Lia
"Is this what you were planning last night" i asked Katie
"Yes, I'm so mad you knew something was up" she replied
"You weren't exactly quiet laughing downstairs, even my mum could hear you" said Jill
"Katie being loud, I don't believe you" said Leah sarcastically.
Kim spoke up "Right guys, no party until after the session then we can have fun"
"Surprised you know what fun is Kim" said Jill which was risky
"I can be fun" Kim said which causes a wave of laughter in the room
Sorry it's a short one today, I've had a lot of work to do :)
