Janine went to pick up Jackie. I think from Jackie's reaction she appreciated the gesture. Once Janine got to the park she FaceTimed us so we could introduce them to each other so it was less awkward. Janine is so outgoing I knew it wouldn't be long before the ice was broken. Jackie had began to smile by the time they hung up.

Once the call ended Jill and I discussed our plans. She told me that in the Netherlands you traditionally celebrate with your family for two days not just one. I wasn't sure if she was having me on but either way it didn't matter I was happy to spend another day here.

However, I couldn't spend another night in that bed so I chose to stay on the sofa. Jill didn't want to be away from me so she slept on the other sofa. At her parents house the lounge is right by the front door. The morning after i was woken up by someone escaping through the door. Jill was so exhausted from the excitement of the day before she slept through. I sat up and just stared at her for a minute. She looked so peaceful just innocently asleep. I then got up and peeped out the window. Jill's Dad had got into his car and pulled off the driveway. I thought this was a bit suspicious but it wasn't enough to keep me up. I soon fell back asleep.

When I woke up again Jill was already up. Her blanket and pillow had been packed away. I wondered why she didn't wake me up. I went looking for her, as I walked through into the hallway I was hollered at. The instruction was for me to join them in the kitchen. As I walked in I was met by a strange face and a smiling Jill. I don't know who this person is but whoever they are Jill is excited to see them. Maybe this is where her Dad went last night.

"So you must be Sophie" the stranger said "I've heard so much about you" This was ironic because i had no idea who this person was.

"Sophie this is Danae my old best friend" Jill said which confused me

"Just because I'm dating your brother doesn't mean I'm not still one of your best friends" Danae said in response.

"I suppose this was a nice surprise" Jill joked

Whilst Jill was downstairs reminiscing with Danae I took the opportunity to go upstairs and check on Jackie.

I texted Janine to see how yesterday went.

Sophie: Heyyy, thank you so much for yesterday xx
Janine: That's okay. Jackie is so fun xx
Sophie: That's such a relief, how did she get on going home? xx
Janine: she didn't go home, she was the life of the party. She drank so much she passed out so we put her to bed in your old room. She hasn't woken up yet xx
Sophie: oh god I hope she's okay xx
Janine: Don't worry I got this xx

Janine seemed confident that she could look after Jackie effectively which was surprising bearing in mind they didn't know each other before. With that i mind, knowing how quickly Janine and I worked up a friendship it wouldn't be shocking if they were best friends by the end of the week.

I went back downstairs. Jill was really enjoying herself which was so nice to see. I updated her on Jackie and she said she would phone her a little later when she'd woken up. The day went by super fast. Nothing much happened but it was soon time for us to head back to Amsterdam. We couldn't stay another day because the spa was booked for the next day.

As we were leaving there was a few emotional farewells. This was to be expected when you consider how close they all are. This wasn't something I've experienced before, normally when I say goodbye to my family it's a relief. I don't know why I keep going back expecting them to be different people. I know deep down that they aren't as bad as they act. My mum can be so lovely but something about my brother just seems to tarnish this. They weren't going to change so maybe it's best I cut them out of my life.

The journey back seemed to last forever. I couldn't wait to just lie down in the big comfy hotel bed and finally get a good nights sleep. Jill winged the entire way which broke my heart. I tried to cheer her up but nothing was successful into I opened Spotify and began our high school musical karaoke session. She wasn't the best singer but she was giving it her best go.

When we got back to the hotel, we went straight up to our room. We should probably have said hello to our friends but we were too tired. Jill fell asleep in my arms.

When I woke up I was very excited to spend the day being pampered. After we ordered room service to enjoy in bed we met the other four in the spa. Lisa had clearly missed me as upon first sight she pounced and gave me the tightest cuddle. I warned her with the amount of food I've eaten in the past few days that probably wasn't the wisest thing to do.

Sitting in the pool gave me the chance to update everyone on Jackie. Jill had last spoken to her the day before and discovered that Jackie has already moved her stuff out of her house and was going to temporarily take my old room until she can find one of her own teammates to live with. I wouldn't be surprised if she falls in love with my former teammates enough for her to stay there permanently. They really are the nicest bunch.

Dan still seemed a little concerned about Jackie but Beth reassured her that a break up is the least of her worries if she was to be living in the same place as Lauren. I backed her up but added that however annoying Lauren may be she is the most protective person so would be there for Jackie if she needed it. Jill confirmed that being on Lauren's bad side was scary so it was safe to say that Jackie's cheating ex would be sufficiently scared off.

We then got to talking about our plans for when we got back to Arsenal. This was when Viv and Lisa dropped a bombshell.
