"So do you see anything you like?" Jackie asked me

I didn't answer the question I just looked at her as she frantically tore clothes out of her wardrobe "we need to talk Jackie" i said

"About what?" She said playing dumb

"About the lying, where have you been going recently" I questioned with a stern look

"Jill" she said "I promise it's not what you think"

"So you haven't been lying about training then?" I asked

"No I have, but not because of what you're thinking of" she said "I've been seeing him"

WHAT! I said in my head. This is 10 worse than what I thought it was going to be. She continued talking trying to explain herself but I zoned out. He cheated on her and she's still seeing him???

"And I know what you would all think so I didn't tell you" she continued

"Jack he's a cheat. How could you go back there?" I asked

"It's not like it was with you, he's changed" she explained

"They never change, once a cheat always a cheat. I don't want to see you get hurt again" i said

"It's different" she said

"I bet you it isn't" I screamed. I know deep down she knows I'm right and that she would be better off without him but she doesn't know how to be alone so will keep going back.

"It is" she said which made me roll my eyes. This made her cross. "It is because he loves me and Jess never loved you, she just used you"

"I can't believe you just said that" I said as tears came to my eye "I was only looking out for you"

"Jill...wait" she shouted but it was too late I'd already hopped out of the door. If she really wanted to she could catch me up because I couldn't go very fast on my crutches. The only person who came after me was Janine.

"Are you okay?" She asked me as I waited by the lift

"Fine thanks" i said still crying "I don't mean to be rude but I can't stay. Enjoy your party"

"You sure you don't want a lift somewhere" she asked

"No don't be silly, have a good night, I'll be fine"

Sophie's POV

I hadn't  heard from Jill last night. I presumed she would have phoned me to at least say goodnight. She must have just been having fun with Jackie so I didn't think much of it at the time. Anyways, today is my day off I've been working super hard recently so I just wanted to do something fun. My plan was to watch a load of Netflix.

However, I was really missing Jill which is pretty ridiculous bearing in mind she's not been gone 24 hours yet. Caitlin and Lia were getting on really well, almost too well. Something is definitely going to happen between those two. Seeing them enjoying each others company made me want to be with Jill even more right now.

"Where are you off too?" Lia asked me as i appeared downstairs with a bag.

"Train station. I fancy a day trip to Manchester to see my old teammates" I explained

"What you mean to say is, you miss Jill" said Caitlin

"Was it that obvious?" I asked

"You two are total lovebirds" Caitlin explained "we knew it wouldn't take you long"

At least by taking the train I still got to watch a few hours of Netflix. I didn't tell anyone I was coming so when I arrived at the apartment they were shocked.

"Crikey you look like death" i said to Janine when she opened the door

Despite looking horrendously tired she found the energy to hug me

"What the hell are you doing here, we were just heading out to get coffee want to come?" She suggested

"Sure, but can I see Jill first?" I asked

"What do you mean, Jill's not here. Didn't she tell you?" Said Janine

"Very funny, I've missed your little pranks" I responded

"I'm not joking, she left in a hurry crying yesterday"

"And you didn't think to stop her, or even better yet tell me?" I shouted

"I'm sorry" said Jackie as she appeared behind Janine at the door "I've tried phoning her but she won't answer"

"Well where is she?" I asked very cross. My anger soon turned to tears. Jackie attempted comforting me but I didn't want to hear it.

"Come inside Soph, we will find her don't worry" said Janine as she shut the door behind us.

Sorry it's really short, I don't have much time and I already didn't update yesterday so just did a very quick short one.
