The next morning, I woke up with a groggy head. As I went to stretch out like a starfish I noticed Caz fast asleep in my bed. My memory of last night was totally blank. Could something of happened between me and Caz? Next thing I knew Lauren came bursting into my room, followed by Janine camera in hand, and drenched us with ice cold water. I haven't missed Lauren's hangover pranks.

Caz woke up instantly. A look of terror was painted across her face as she tried to contemplate where she was. Next thing I knew she was chasing Lauren out the room threatening to kill her. Janine stayed behind and sat down on my bed.

"What's the worried look about"

"Oh nothing" I paused "I'm sure it's nothing, I just don't remember what happened last night"

"Me neither, I woke up fully dressed in my bed and no idea how I got there" said Janine unaware that we found her asleep in the hallway. "What do you think happened" continued Janine.

Embarrassed by what I was about to suggest I started to blush. "I just don't know why Caz was in my bed"

Janine burst out in a fit of laughter... "you didn't think you.. yanno?" I shrugged my shoulders to which Janine responded "Caz is as straight as they come don't worry. I know we haven't talked about it but I'm presuming this means you're you know..."

I abruptly interrupted her before she could finish "yes.. idk.. maybe, I'm just not sure yet"

Janine calmed me down, "it's okay to not know, we don't need to talk about it. What do you want for breakfast? I think we have just enough in the fridge to make pancakes"

"Sounds great, I'll just tidy up the mess you've made of my room and be right out"

By the time I'd tidied up and made my way into the kitchen Caz had left. This made me feel a bit more at ease because i would have hated for her to pick up on any atmosphere created by my delusions. After all she is one of my new best friends.

"She had four missed calls from her boyfriend.. boys are so clingy can you believe them" said Aoife

Janine couldn't help but share a concerned look in my direction then saying "they're totally the worst"

I remained silent before quickly changing the conversation. "Where's Lauren, if she knows what's good for her she'll continue to hide where i can't find her"

"She went to the shop to get food for the week, she decided it was best she went as last night you didn't seem to happy after her not cleaning"

Suddenly, the events of last night all came back to me. How could I be so silly and think that there was something between me and Caz.
