(You guys are my favourite people thanks for reading my fic ahh~ I can't believe I'm at chapter 10 already haha)

"Videos?"

Coach smiled and turned to his computer, opening some files.

"My secret stash. Don't tell June, okay?" He clicked on a video and pulled a seat beside him for me as the video loaded.

"June?"

"Her full-dress practice for her senior debut."

I could hear Coach's voice in the background as June skated to the centre of the rink, nodding at Coach and striking her starting pose while the music played. Phantom of the Opera...

June opened with a stunning triple lutz-triple toe combo, transitioning beautifully into a layback spin, to a Biellmann.

"Wow..."

Coach nodded, clasping his hands together. "Still gives me the chills."

June continued into a short sequence and-

Triple axel.

Exiting with a sweet edge, she moved into her step sequence before landing a triple-triple-double.

"Coach, this..."

"This is June, barely 1 year ago."

I couldn't believe my eyes. "Triple axel..."

"She was nailing them every practice. She gave up one season just to get them right. But..." Coach let out a quiet sigh as June struck her finishing pose with a brilliant smile on her face.

"BABY GIRL'S DONE IT!" A voice cried out excitedly in the background as a few blurry figures swarmed into the rink and smothered June.

"Who...?"

"Team Canada. They adore her."

"Team Canada?"

"You know like, Patrick? Scott and Tessa and Jeff?"

"Yes! Ahh..." I squinted at the screen as a man who looked like Scott scooped June up and spun her around as the rest of them screamed happily.

Brian stopped the video and closed the window, sighing softly.

"Adam..?" I asked hesitantly.

"Hm? What about Adam?"

"Is he? Uh...June..."

"Boyfriend?"

I nodded.

"Not that I know of. I always thought they were more like siblings, but..." Brian lifted his brows, pursing his lips. "I guess only they know what's going on themselves. I try to give my students some privacy."

"Ah..." I nodded, roughly understanding Brian's words. "At Finland, Adam and me...talk."

"Oh? That's good. You should meet more people."

"Adam said sorry...to Coach."

Brian turned and looked at me thoughtfully for a moment, pausing before he let out a sigh.

"Adam...it's not his fault. He has nothing to apologise for." Brian shook his head, gazing at his computer screen. "Things have been rough with these kids, Javier and Adam. And June."

"Eh?"

"It's pretty complicated. It'll be tough for you to understand their situation, so don't worry about it too much. I believe- I hope they'll be alright."

I nodded, though I couldn't understand. Coach looked at me and chuckled, shaking his head.

"It's okay."
