"I was so afraid you were going to say that you were quitting."

"Got too much tomato in your head, Javi?"

"Psh. You sounded so solemn!" he chuckled, wrapping his arm around me as he dragged me around the ice. "I've been waiting so long to say this. Welcome back to the team!" Javi smiled childishly and spun me around as we twirled around in circles.

"Alright, alright...stop messing around. We've got a lot to prepare for!" Brian nagged as he called us in, but his face obviously didn't match his attitude.

"Brian, did you go for a facial? Your face is beaming!" Javi teased as he swung an arm over Coach's shoulders. "Oh wait, I know why. Baby chick has returned to the nest, that's why~"

"Oh, shut up, you. Can I continue?" Coach rolled his eyes and shot him an anguished smile. "So...we'll need to get you two programs." He pointed at me, giving me an expectant look. "Do you have anyone in mind?"

I shrugged. "I don't really mind anyone who's willing to take in this newbie."

"You're not a newbie."

"Returning newbie."

Coach sighed and turned to Yuzuru. "So, we're settled with yours, right?"

He nodded, pointing at David. "I will work with David later...on choreography."

"Good. June," He crossed his arms and his voice turned stern. "You know how the Olympic season goes. Once March is over, the choreographers will be all over the place. Can I count on you to choose someone by this week?"

"Yes, Coach." I nodded, feeling the pressure. I felt a light pat on my back and spun around to see Yuzuru smiling at me reassuringly.

"We're here to support you, okay?"

A giggle bubbled up my throat as I tried to contain it, feeling the pressure disperse. "Thanks, Yuzuru. I really appreciate it." I smiled at him gratefully before skating away, warming up.

A new program, huh...

My phone started to vibrate in my pocket. I picked up the call to hear a familiar voice greeting me chirpily.

"June! Good morning," My lips curled up as Jeff's crisp voice twinkled over the phone. "Congratulations on your comeback. I'm so happy for you."

"You can't really call it a 'comeback' yet, right?"

"Oh psh. Have faith in yourself. How's the practice going? Has Scott and Tess called you yet? I'm sure Patrick has, he was spazzing all over himself when he heard the news!"

"Who on earth is leaking the news, seriously..." I sighed at the thought of Scott and Tessa barging in through the Cricket's gate. "Not sure how well the practice will go, honestly."

"Why, darling?"

"I don't even have a program yet. I have no idea what I want to do..." I sighed, ranting over the phone. "How am I going to be ready for this season, jeez..."

"Seems like you're in a pinch there, hm."

"Yeah..." I stared at the ice, pausing. Wait. Jeff's on the phone.
