HAAYYYYY I'M BACK

I've been thinking about some stuff this whole week and like, trying to get my life together. I guess you start doing a lot of weird stuff when you have 10 weeks to go before school begins?? I'm also trying to learn new stuff while skating (I should really get a coach ugh) and it's resulted in a lot of bruises. THE OUTSIDE EDGE IS SCARY.

okay enough about me let's move on to the story yas

(BTW THANKS FOR ALL THE COMMENTS I REALLY LOVE TALKING TO Y'ALL)

Just...one more...entry...

The final lutz...! I took a deep breath and leapt, hanging onto the ice with all the strength left in me, enduring the lingering pain in my ankle. YES.

I struck my final pose as the music stopped, feeling a sense of joy and fatigue overwhelming me as I knelt on the ground while the audience roared in applause. I knelt on the ground, my legs giving out on me. I struggled to get up, my legs still wobbly as I bowed to the audience, breaking into an ecstatic smile. I was happy. I really was. I did it.

"Great job, Yuzu. So proud of you," David gave me a tight hug as I stepped out of the rink, my legs still trembling madly. My ankle's busted...I forced a smile as I endured the pain, nodding at him. As my eyes swept across the bleachers, I noticed her, up on her feet and cheering ecstatically.

Are you sure you really hate this program...I couldn't help but simper at her beaming face as she clapped, holding up the fanboard I had persuaded her to make.

"JUNE!" I waved my arms wildly at her. The fans standing around her went into a frenzy, cheering wildly. Oops.

June rolled her eyes at me at usual, but the wide grin was still plastered on her face as she struck a thumbs-up to me.

'I'm so proud of you!'I saw her lips move.

Did she just...say she was proud of me?

"Alright, that's enough. Let's not block the way, shall we?" David shooed me towards the Kiss And Cry as the officials handed me my jacket and Pooh. As I settled down in the sitting area, I looked around for June again but she was gone already. I sighed as I sat beside David, waiting for the results. A giggle bubbled out as I rubbed my nose.

She said she's proud of me.

"May we now invite the winners of the small medals for the men's free program!"

Javi gave me a light pat as I went up after Denis and Patrick before he slid to the side, moving closer to where June was standing. I smiled at both of them as I took my place beside Denis while the officials hooked the medals over our heads, congratulating us.

It's tiny...but it's still a medal. I chuckled softly and looked towards June's direction. She waved at me, taking a photo with her phone.

"Alright boys, let's take a photo. Come in closer," the photographers directed us as the flashes went off. I stepped off the stage as the officials invited the overall winners up, watching Javi go up on stage.

"Hey."

I turned around and saw June behind me. "Hey."

"That's a nice medal you have there."

"Really?" I took the medal off, putting it around her neck. "You can have it, then." I joked, ruffling her hair.

"Yeah, I ought to have it. After all that you put me through..."
