My eyes popped open as I woke up from my nap. "My alarm did not go off" I exclaimed, rolling over in bed " Well I'm late"
My digital clock on my nightstand read 7:23 pm.I quickly jumped out of my bed, without bothering to fix it.
I ran to my bathroom, took a quick shower, and brushed my teeth in 35 minutes which was quick considering I always take 3 hour showers.
When I was sort of done getting myself situated I tried to do something with my hair that was all over the place.
I tried to brush it down but it wouldn't stay and I didn't have time for it to look cute so I only had one option.
" Forget it" I huffed, throwing it in a ponytail. " Something told me to wear a scarf before I laid down" I walked to my closet.
I quickly skimmed through my closet picking out a pair of sweatpants and a tank top. " Bingo!" I smiled yanking them from a hanger.
I quickly threw on my outfit along with a jacket to match and glanced at my clock which read 8:07
" I need to hurry up." I walked to my bags that were against my door.
At least I was smart enough to make sure everything was packed before I took a nap.
As I rolled my bags to my living room the phone rang.
" Ughhh!" I grunted walking to my phone. " I don't have time for this." I picked up the phone.
" Hey." I spoke.
" Hey Sheila."
" De I'm getting ready right now what's up?"
" I was just calling to say that I'm on my way."
" No but thank you. We already talked about this. I already have a ride." I laughed.
" I'm almost there."
" De it's fine I promise. Jasmine is my transportation to the airport."
"Aight well I guess I'll turn around then."
" Yeah I'll meet you there. I have to go though."
" Bye."
" Bye love you"
" mhmm" he hummed, hanging up.
I stared at the phone in disbelief as soon as our line disconnected " no he didn't" I scoffed laughing.
" Whatever" I put the phone back in the hook. " I need to leave in the next five minutes if I don't want to board the plane late." I thought aloud.
I looked at my watch and grabbed my bags.
Wait I feel like I'm missing something
