"wait why are we fighting again?" you asked confused and tired. one minute you were about to go sleep, now you and your girlfriend are arguing about something.
"what do you mean 'why are we fighting again' like this isn't all your fault!" rae snapped, her voice harsh.
"my fault! last time i checked you were the one being distant" you rolled your eyes.
"i'm not being distant" rae crossed her arms.
"oh so what are you doing when you barely talk to me, when you fight with me about stupid shit, and when you spend the least amount of time with me as possible'" you yelled.
"you were the one who said i was being too clingy" she retorted.
"okay first of all i never said that" you scoffed, "i just said that i wanted to do one thing without you"
"why don't you just go do everything by yourself then!" rae screamed not really thinking about what she was saying.
"maybe i will," you said not missing a beat, "i didn't need you anyways"
"of course you don't" rae rolled her eyes.
you turned around walking towards the door, "not like much is changing, you haven't been acting like a real girlfriend lately anyways"
"ok so we're done?" rae asked.
"yeah i guess" you slammed her door when you walked out before you made your way to your best friend janet's room. "what are you doing?" you asked janet standing at her door.
she looked at you and saw you crying and immediately stopped what she was doing to comfort you. "what's wrong y/n/n?"
"i think me and rae just broke up," you told janet.
"ohh it's okay y/n/n" she comforted you as you cried into her shoulder.
you had been avoiding rae for a couple of weeks which was extremely hard since you two lived in the same house. you thought about buying a hotel or going to a friend's house but got too lazy to actually do it. you had made janet get all your food and bring it to your room so you didn't have to run into rae.
"okay, this is getting out of hand y/n/n. you are gonna run into rae eventually. you two live in the same house"
"i know that but i'm trying to avoid it for as long as possible," you said before eating your ice cream that she just brought you.
"well i'm not gonna bring you food every day," janet said.
"we have other roommates" you shrugged.
"i'll give you today to just hang out in your room and avoid her but tomorrow, you and rae are gonna talk" janet told you before leaving the room.
"you can't force me out this room!" you yelled.
it was the next day and janet did stay true to her word and forced you to leave your room.
"this is for your own good" she dragged you out of your room.
"is it really though?" you asked as she dragged you all the way to the living room.
"yes it is" she answered.
"can you let me just sit in my room for at least one more day, i promise we can do this tomorrow" you lied.
"i'm gonna go get rae and you two are gonna talk this out," she said making sure you stayed seated on the couch.
you looked around trying to find your escape route. you could just walk out the door but that seems boring. or you could just jump over the couch and then walk out the door which sounds more fun.
you were about to get ready to go through with your master plan when janet pulled rae into the living.
"well looks like i have to eat" you stood up from the couch getting ready to go to the kitchen.
"you can eat later y/n/n, plus you just eat," janet told you making you sit back down. "now you two are gonna talk, make up, and get back together, or at least just make up because this whole avoiding each other thing is not the move"
she walked out the living room leaving you and rae just sitting on two separate couches, not saying a word, just sitting in akward silence.
"well i think she's gone so i'm just gonna go eat more food" you stood back up looking around to see if janet would make you sit back down.
you went to make your self some food while rae just sat on the couch in her thoughts. once you got done you went back to the living room because you had a feeling janet would not let you back in your room unless you talked to rae.
"umm can we talk?" rae asked looking straight at you.
"yeah" you said waiting for her to talk.
"i'm sorry for being distant and starting a whole bunch of unnecessary fights" she apologized.
"i'm also sorry for saying i don't need you, i do apperantly really need you. i was a mess the whole time i was avoiding you" you told her.
"does this mean we're back?" she asked.
"i would love to be back" you swallowed dryly, "but this time we have to be better"
"of course. full communication" she nodded her head.
"well it seems like we're back" you smiled.
"it sure does" rae grinned moving over to the couch you were on to hug you.
"please don't leave me again" you said into the hug.
"never again" she whispered.
"they're back!" janet yelled from another part of the house.
"yeah! but your kinda ruining the moment!" you yelled back as rae laughed.
"oh sorry. i'll just go be excited in my room!" janet exclaimed.
soo i love rae's hair either way but her w/ fully brunette hair just hits diff.
