you and your ex are in the same friend group but are on good enough terms. of course, there is some kind of awkwardness when the whole group hangs out but nothing too uncomfortable.
you two had been broken up for a couple of weeks now, which was enough time for them, and you to move on.
well, you had moved on pretty fast since right after the breakup, tina one of your closest friends made it a point to make you feel better. during that time you had definitely fallen for her.
so you hadn't really cared that much when your ex walked in with a new person.
the whole time your friend group would check up on you making sure you felt alright with them there. every time you would have to reassure them that you were perfectly fine.
you had fun hanging out with them again, but the night eventually ended and everybody made their way home.
after everybody left, you and tina decided to watch a new show on netflix before you two went to sleep.
"how do you feel about them moving on?" tina asked you. you thought a little before answering, you had expected to feel some type of sadness when they walked in together, but it didn't end up affecting you much.
"umm, they look happy. haven't seen them like that since the beginning of our relationship" you answered simply. the relationship with them was nice of course, but you liked tina now.
"well, i see me making you feel better actually worked," tina said feeling proud of herself.
"yeah, it did," you told tina. "kind of glad they did move on though. i felt guilty when i moved on so fast"
"oh-wait you like someone?" she spoke in a tone that sounded... jealous, maybe.
"yeah. just a small crush though. i don't know if she likes me back or not" you sit next to her on the couch.
"well can i know who it is?" she asked. you tensed up not expecting her to ask you, and slowly turned to look at her. she was way closer than you expected her to be.
you decided to do something bold to show her who you liked. you kissed her, and she kissed back. you placed your hand on her cheek, using the other to support yourself.
"y/n... i think your crush likes you back" tina smiled.
you smile back before pushing some hair out of her face, "you know you're really pretty"
