Chapter 14

Prey & Predator

"Oh, so... you are a foreigner?" Saki was quite surprised after hearing the strange girl's name. That girl can speak Japanese fluently, and that leads Saki to mistakenly think she is Japanese.

"Thank... Thank you so much, Wendy. For helping me and my baby... My name is Saki." Saki continued to thank Wendy again. If this girl didn't take Saki to the hospital and just quietly walked over her body, perhaps her dream of seeing Hana would forever vanish.

However, Saki didn't know how to repay this girl's help, the money she had worked so hard to earn was robbed. Those teenagers took all the money from her and left nothing behind, not even 1000 yen for Saki and her baby.

Saki had been in the hospital once, and she knew everything was expensive. The last time she had an abortion, it cost her a lot of money, leaving her to work all night long. This time she was in the hospital again, not to remove the baby from her, but to take care of the baby.

Saki immediately became flustered at the thought of things like hospital expenses, it would definitely be much more expensive than the last time. However, unlike last time, her body probably couldn't stand the pressure from that dirty job anymore.

Saki bit the corner of her lips, trying to think of a way to pay back. She was willing to suffer once more to have money to take care of Hana. However, things would be easier if her client was a man, not a girl like this ...

While thinking worriedly, Saki was suddenly startled by the strange girl's gasping breath. She turned and suddenly saw Wendy's creepy eyes. It was the same look when those teenagers wanted to kill her baby, the look full of lethal intention. 

"Shit ... she ... knew it ... I was ... I was too stupid ..." Wendy was startled after Saki asked if she was a foreigner...

She realized for a moment when she let her guard down, she had given Saki her real name. This would definitely cause trouble for Wendy if her real name was leaked out. To protect her real identity, keeping Saki silent forever was the first choice Wendy thought of.

The murderous intention began to curl in her chest, awakening the instincts of a wild animal inside Wendy. She stared at the pregnant girl, thinking over and over on how to kill Saki without making a mess ...

"I GOTTA KILL HER, I GOTTA KILL HER RIGHT NOW!!! I gotta call Mr Wolf then lure her out of this hospital!"  Wendy's entire muscles begin to stiffen like a ferocious beast preparing for its hunt, ready to jump in and tear its prey at once when the opportunity arises.

Saki saw that gaze clearly, the strange girl didn't seem to mind her words anymore and just stared at her. That girl said nothing, but it was enough to make Saki start to feel scared. She then unconsciously held her belly to protect Hana from the danger she felt...

"Grrrrrr." A loud sound came from Saki's stomach, breaking the deadly silence, informing that she was very hungry...

Saki shyly hugged her stomach, trying to hide the sound she considered embarrassing. "I'm ... I'm sorry ..." Her cheeks were completely red from embarrassment.

Although Saki was infused with the nutrients to survive, her stomach was completely empty. Hunger started to tore her mind, and the continuous growls from her stomach made Saki even more flustered, she didn't know how to stop it.

Wendy also heard the sounds, which knocked the bloodlust out of her mind. She suddenly looked back at the poor girl who was trying to hide her hunger. And now, Wendy understood why she gave Saki her real name.
