" So tell me about the new girl." she asked smilingly.
"Omg! He told you that too?" I asked as my right palm met my lips.
"Haha." She let out a girlish laughter, "He did." She continued.
"Okay, so first of she's everything." I stated matter of factly.
"Woah!" She exclaimed.
I went on and on until the clock ticked 10:00pm, Aunty zee laughed and gave me some advice, that I typed on my phone that I'd be sure to use.
She gives some pretty kickass advice you know.
We bade farewell so I left, driving on a three sixty, fast and furious. I couldn't wait to hear the feedback from ya Mukhtar.
I got to the parking lot, and parked.
I was at ease when I saw the black SUV parked too.
I hurriedly went inside, did not bother going to the living room, I went straight to his room.
"Ya how did it go?"
"Ba sallama?" (No greetings.) He asked.
"Sorry, pardon my eager self I've been restless since then, Assalamualaikum. " I pleaded and greeted.
"Waalaikum salam, so how's my wife?"
"Ya please tell me already."
"Answer me first, now you know how it feels to be in love, a grown ass man that doesn't know how to come about a lady, the one that he loves at that, funny."
"Yaya!" I exclaimed " okay, aunty zee is fine, positive and ready to go, as usual."
"Are you sure?"
"Yaya, I'm sure, just tell me already."
My heart was already racing, on the verge of explosion.
"Okay, I think I saw the girl too, that girl is quite naughty, she came peeping, to see who it was in there living room, but she didn't know I saw her, she's light skinned right?"
"I told you she's naughty Haha, so what did she or anybody say?"
"No I didn't get to talk to her, but I did talk to her Dad, guess what?"
I looked at him with an arched brow, waiting for a valid answer to spit.
"What?" I quickly asked to save time.
"Her Dad and ours were friends when he was alive, they once had a partnership, so that made it easier to get the girl."
"Alhamdulillah! So what next?"
"He has agreed for the courtship and would like to see you too."
"Wow!" I spat as my lips formed an O, with both eye brows arched.
"So you can court her now." He said smilingly.
"Alhamdulillah, thank you so much bro, you've made my day." I quickly hugged him and ran to mama's living room to tell her all about it.
