Sixth Day Of Preparation
"Gather up, everyone" Nandito kami ngayon sa venue kung saan gaganapin ang concert. This will be our first pre-rehearsal. Five more days to go before the concert kaya kailyngan na naming magdouble time. Kaya naman kagabi ay napagpasyahan namin na magpractice muna dito sa mismong venue para maexperience ang stage at para mas maexecute pa ng mabuti ang mga dapat gawin.
"Gather up" Lahat kami ay lumapit kay Lovely at tumuntong din sa stage. We make a big circle, sitting in an indian seat. Pinaggitnaan ako nina Lovely at Rjay. I saw Terrence on my rights side, and of course with Reina on his side. Hindi ko nalang ito pinansin pa at nag focus nalang sa kung anong sinasabi ni Lovely.
"Okay, so for today we are not going to follow the final flow of the event. I am going to shuffle you guys. You sit on the chairs downstairs while you wait for your turn. Feel free to watch and tell your insights about the performance of each other. Okay so once I call your name, get up in the stage immediately" Tumango kaming lahat at bumaba na sa stage saka umupo sa mga upuang nakalaan sa amin. Pinili kong umupo sa pinakalikod dahil nga nakita kong nasa harapan si Reina at Terrence. I don't want to waste my time to watch their Public Display of Affection.
Wala pang isang minuto akong nakaupo ng tawagin agad kami ni Lovely. Hayyyy.
"TLG and BTS. Come up in the stage please" Rjay sigh beside me. I chuckled.
"Way to go" sabi nito saka tumayo at nauna ng pumunta sa stage. Tahimik nalang akong sumunod rito.
Pinatugtog na ang openning song na ipeperform namin. Bigay todo ang lahat kahit pa pre-rehearsal lang ito. Nakita ko kung paano sumeryoso ang mga BTS pagkatapak nila dito sa stage. They sure are the Kings of the World. They are so professional, pero syempre hindi naman kami magpapahuli no?
Natapos ang pre-rehearsal namin para sa group performance at group collaboration. Now it is time for the Couple/Team/Partner collaboration. Oh kung ano ba talaga ang tawag don. Unang tinawag ni Lovely Sina Rjay at Reina.
"Rjay and Reina, please proceed on the stage. Sydney, Cej and Charity please come up in the stage and help me to evaluate their performance"
I exhaled heavily. Hindi pa ako nakakainom ng tubig tinatawag na naman niya kami... Hayyyyy. Pagod man pero wala akong nagawa at pumunta na sa stage. Pumuwesto kami sa gilid para hindi kami makaabala sa space na kakailanganin nila para sa Intermission number na gagawin. Dance presentation ang prinipare ni Rjay para sa kanilang dalawa.
Agad silang nagsimula ng tumugtog ang music. It is a Remix music na may pop, contemporary and at the same time intense/pure love genre. There are times na sobrang dikit ng katawan ng mga ito. I watched their performance intently... Checking if there is any sign of error. Ng biglang naging Intense ang steps nila ay hindi ko napigilan ang sariling tignan si Terrence at panoorin kung ano ang expression nito. He must be feeling jealous now.... But thinking about it... Kaya siguro minsan masama ang tingin nito kay Rjay dahil masyadong close ang dalawa. He's probably jealous.
Just the thought of it, a mere pain started to swallow my body. I just shrugged it off. At mas itinuon ang pokus sa dalawa.
Natapos ang performance sa masigabong palakpakan ng mga nanonood. Tumingin si Lovely sa aming tatlo.
"What you guys think?" tanong nito at may isinusulat sa chart na hawak nito.
"Not that bad" simpleng komento ni Cej.
"Charity?" - Lovely
"Okay lang" tipid nitong sagot.
"Syd?" - Lovely.
"They need more power and energy while preforming. Full out" I commented.
"You heard that Rjay?" tanong ni Lovely rito. Nag okay sign lang ito.
"I'll do some revision on their steps. Something that is more suitable" sabi naman nito at nilapitan na ang dalawa. Pinanood ko kung paano mag one-on-one practice si Lovely at Reina. Napangiti ako ng tipid ng nakita ko kung paano ito turuan ni Lovely. Lovely is strict and serious when it comes to performance. Ang gusto niya, laging perfect... No flaws, just simply perfect.
"Awatin mo na si Lovely, Syd. Aabutin tayo ng siyam siyam rito pag hindi pa niya tinigil yan" natawa ako sa sinabi ni Cej. Thirty minutes have passed pero hindi parin tapos si Lovely sa revisions na sinasabi niya. I noticed how tired Reina is, maybe hindi siya sanay sa mga ganitong bagay.
"Lapitan mo na Syd" pag-uulit pa ni Charity. Kaya wala akong nagawa kundi ang lumapit sa mga ito.
"Are you guys done?" pasimple kong tanong. Tumingin sa suot na relo si Lovely at napailing.
"We'll continue this tomorrow." sabi niya at idinismiss ang dalawa. I saw how Rjay mouthed 'Thank you'. I just simply nod at him.
"Next! Sydney and Terrence!" sigaw ni Lovely sa tabi ko. Hindi na ako umalis sa gitna at hinintay ko nalang na makaakyat sa stage si Terrence. Lovely smile knowingly at me. I just rolled my eyes at her.
"Goodluck!" sabi nito bago tuluyang nagpagilid. May lumapit na staff sa amin ni Terrence at sinuotan kami ng microphone.
"Are you guys ready?" tanong ni Lovely sa gilid. I just nod without looking at her.
Naglakad na ako papunta sa may other side ni Terrence but he suddenly grabbed my hands. Para akong napaso ng hawakan niya ang kamay ko.
"Good luck!" he whisphered.
"You too" maikiling sagot ko saka kinalas ang pagkakahawak niya sa kamay.
Nagsimula ng tumugtog ang music. Secret Love song started playing. I did my usual moves para sa first verse at the same time singing. Ng magsimula na ang pangalawang verse dahan-dahan akong idinala ng mga sariling paa sa gitna ng stage. Bridge came at nakita ko kung paano tinakbo ni Terence and natitirang distansya sa amin. I saw how his eyes moved and look at me with his warm stare.
Napasinghap ako ng bigla niya akong hinapit sa bewang. My heart started beating rapidly. The intense gaze he is giving me is unbearable. Kahit ilang beses pa ata namin gawin ang bagay na ito ay hinding-hindi ako masasanay.
"Stop!" biglang tumigil ang music na siyang ipinagtaka ko. Terrence immediately release me. Nilingon ko ang apat kong kaibigan na nasa gilid. Nakapameywang ito at tinitignan ako ng 'Are you serious?' look. 'What?' I mouthed.
"Something's missing" sabi ni Lovely. Tumango ang iba bilang pagsang-ayon.
"There really is." Rjay pointed.
"What would that be?" I nervously laughed.
"EMOTIONS!" they all said in unison with my mouth forming an 'oh'.
