As I walk into the room Aaron is Sat by the bed he looks up "You Want to sit down" he stands up to get another Chair as I sit down "You can talk to him the Doctor says he can hear you" I take Zaks hand in mine. "I'm going to get Coffee do you want one ?" He asks I shake my head he leaves its just me and Zak, his eyes are closed I can hear his breathing the machine. "Zak I'm sorry I love you" its so quiet I don't know what to say to him. It doesn't feel real this morning he was home and now he is in a hospital bed.

I wake up its early morning im still with Zak.

A few hours later I'm home to shower and rest the kids are at school.

Zaks Mum Cimes to see me "I thought you would be at the hospital ?" " I came home to cange how is he ?" "He is stable" I start to cry she hugs me "Its going to be ok its early days" "How can it be ok " She makes me a drink "Zak needs you to be strong for him" "I can't " "Yes you can I will look after Zeb and Alexander" "What if he doesn't wake up" "You can't think like that you must stay positive" I know she is right.

Sat by his Bedside its been three days since the accident I'm holding his hand talking to him "Zak can you hear me sweetheart, I'm sorry I just love you so much, " A Nurse enters the room to check his chart

"Zeb is doing so well in school" as I mention Zeb I feel Zaks hand move "Zak can you hear me ? If you can squeeze my hand" Zak is starting to wake up he squeezes my hand and slowly opens his eyes I call the Nurse she comes in "He is awake he just opened his eyes " I say as she shines a light into each eye and takes his pulse

Zak is awake he is a little confused understandable "What happened? " I tell him about the accident. Its late in the evening and I gently kiss him and climb into his hospital bed next to him he puts his arm around me and I fall asleep with him.
