Zak helped me stand up and pulled me to him holding me tight I can hear his heartbeat and we just stand there for at least ten minutes

Zak P.O.V

It's not easy to see Jo so upset but I want a part in my child's life, maybe I was stupid to think this wouldn't affect us so much, holding her I can feel she is trembling and I'm worried.

Jo P.O.V

I break away from him he looks hurt "Why ? You said you didn't want anything to do with her and you lied to me and went to the scan " He sighs "I was going to tell you I couldn't find the words I know what I said but I changed my mind I wanted to see my baby I guess I didn't know how much it would hurt you I'm so sorry" he gets a dustpan and brush and clears up the mess. "Its going to come between us everything is changing, I'm scared you will want more from her"

He sits at the table and pulls me onto his lap "I put my arms around his neck and we kiss " I should have told you I just want to be involved with everything like I was with Zeb and our little girl and you don't have to worry it is always you i love you I'm still crazy about you since forever" I feel safe and secure in his arms.

I'm thinking as long as he is involved with his child Lily will always be in the background waiting for him.

His phone rings and obviously its her he sort of smiles at me and after a few minutes its clear something is wrong because he gets up moving me and grabs his keys, I will always be second best.

Zak P.O.V

Lily phones about the baby she is in hospital thinking she might lose it. I feel like I'm caught in the middle But my wife

and family will come first.

Its late when Zak gets home and he climbs into bed next to me a few hours later I go into labour.

A few days later at home with Zeb, Zak holding his little girl in his arms my heart melts maybe we will be ok.
