[25] Sound

Bakugo and Kio stand across from each other like every other fight that has taken place today, only this time people are looking forward to having a more intense fight as they have reached the semi-finals.

But no, Ekio thinks not.

She looks Bakugo deep in the eyes and opens her mouth.

Knock me out. She mouths to him. A tick appears on his head and he shakes his head. Ekio just nods back to him before looking over to Midnight.

The said woman raises her whip into the air, exciting the crowd more than it already is.

"Go!"

Kio stands completely still, looking up at Xian who is standing in the same spot, only this time he seems to be more focused on Bakugo than her. She doesn't want Xian's attention, but she also doesn't want it on Bakugo, only Kami knows what he is up to.

Bakugo moves first, jumping towards the girl with his fists out, ready to blow her up and out of the arena.

Ekio might just give him a fight. She looks up at his hand before dodging tot he side and rolling away from him. Bakugo lands on the ground, his hands blowing up the concrete destructively.

She winces at the ground and imagines that it is her.

'This boy is trying to kill me, for sure.'

Kio grabs raises her hand towards him and sets off her Quirk, forcing him to dodge ad become slightly vulnerable. A fight between these two is slightly pointless if you think about it. They both have explosive Quirks that do large amounts of damage and are hard to contain.

It would seem that they are going to have a wonderful time seeing who can blow up more of what for this round because there is a very low possibility that either of them is going to directly attack the other.

They will get to it, but at the moment no.

"Stop moving, damn it," Bakugo mutters as she dodges an attack from him again.

"What? And get blown up by that? I think not." Ekio scoffs, beating her fist into the ground and ripping up the concrete in a line from her to Bakugo.

The said boy jumps to the side and sets off an explosion toward her, making her almost tip over the precious white line, but she manages to catch her balance and fall forward.

"You lied, huh?"

"No, I just realised just about how pissed I am." Her eyes flicker up to Xian again, who is now leaning his chin against his palm and grinning down at the two.

During this time of distraction, Bakugo places his hand on the girl's leg and set off an explosion. Ekio shouts in pain and jumps away, patting off her uniform. She hisses as stinging pain travels up and down her leg with her heartbeat.

"Little shit," she spits at Bakugo, who just smiles widely at her, cracking his knuckles and looking down at her.

Ekio hates people looking down on her, it is what many people have done all her life, seeing as she has had 'no parents' and has always kept to herself, people believe she is shy or disbelief and unable to handle herself. Now that she can prove her worth and her capability, she isn't just going to let someone get away with it.

Her hand appears in front of the boy's face him a flash, surprising the both of them. Bakugo barely misses her attack, only just not getting half his head sliced off.

"At me?"

"No, at him." She glances at her brother before bringing her knee up and shoving it into Bakugo's gut.
