[13] Recovery

Ekio notices multiple of her classmates moving towards the scene. She sighs and pushes herself up, ignoring the stinging of her hands and leaning on one leg. If she can get close enough to the Nomu, she can trap it in the ground, force the portal to close up around it.

A sudden explosion makes her gaze snap up.

"Move! You're in the way Deku!" Bakugo screams, as his Quirk explodes off towards the enemy. "Take that!' He yells, grabbing onto the portal's metal casing and smashing him into the ground.

Ice covers the ground, grabbing onto the Nomu's legs and slowly encasing him in ice, limiting his movement. Ekio looks beyond the fight and to Todoroki, who is already looking at her and her state. She offers him a weak smile before dropping to her knee and placing her hands on the ground.

"All I heard is that you are here to kill All Might," Todoroki starts.

All Might looks at the ice, seeing as it stopped just before him and clenches his teeth, grabbing onto the Nomu's hands and pulling them away from him and slipping out of his grip, flipping off the Nomu'd hands.

Kirishima jumps forward, aiming to land a hit on Shigaraki, but the man moves back just in time.

"Huh? Damn it! I didn't get to show off!" Kirishima whines as he jumps back.

Bakugo grins widely at him. "Stop acting so stuck up, foggy nobody!"

"The Symbol of Peace can't be killed by the likes of you." Todoroki finishes, looking towards Shigaraki.

"Kurogiri, our entrance and exit, has been overcome," Shigaraki says, stepping away from the heroes and coincidently towards Ekio.

This doesn't go unnoticed by the said girl as she narrows her eyes at the man.

"We're in a pinch."

"You careless bastard," Bakugo chuckles while looking down at Kurogiri. "You're just what I thought you'd be."

Shigaraki watches as Bakugo perfectly explains what Kurogiri is as he holds him to the ground.

"Kids these days are amazing," he says. "Aren't they, Kio Komo?" Ekio grits her teeth as she looks up at the villain, who is now turned around to look at her. "They make the League of Villain's look bad."

He takes a step closer to the girl and turns back to the fight, "Nomu."

The Nomu starts moving again, pulling itself out of the portal and bending back to an upright position, snapping its arm and leg off in the process. But it keeps moving, training it's eyes in on All Might once again.

"Get back, everyone!" The teacher yells to his students, holding his arm out towards them.

The Nomu's arm and leg regenerates once again at an abnormal speed, making Kio slightly more worried than before. Now that it isn't in the portal she can't help in any way other than slowing him down. But if she does, Shigaraki will probably do something to stop her.

"First, we need to get our gate back." Shigaraki drones. "Go, Nomu."

The Nomu moves at top speed towards Bakugo, who isn't expecting anything. It punches at Bakugo, making Ekio's eyes go wide.

'No hesitation!'

Suddenly wind flies everywhere, making Kio slide closer towards the scene.

"Kacchan!" Midoriya yells, looking at the person who has been thrown into a wall by the punch. He then looks next to him, his eyes widening. "Kacchan?! You dodged? That's amazing!"
