The two run along the hallway, neither letting go of the other hand as they do. At the moment they just want to figure out what is going on, knowing that the focus won't be on them, it will be on the explosion and whoever caused it.
Because of how loud the noise was it is hard to distinguish where exactly it came from, but Kio is sure that they won't miss a gaping hole in the wall. Shoto tugs her around a corner, leading them into a stream of moving people.
Everyone is being evacuated.
'Pro's will be crawling all over the area in a minute,'
Shoto pulls Ekio in the opposite direction to where the civilians are moving in. Kio wants to get angry at the boy again and start a scene, but there are bigger scene's taking place at the moment. Herself and Shoto aren't going to be able to do much in the grand scheme of things. The Pro's will most likely have the situation under control by the time the two of them even figure out where the situation is.
"Shoto c'mon, let's get to the exit," Ekio mumbles, looking up the corridor and still not seeing anything.
Shoto doesn't reply, he just keeps moving along, shoving past people and moving along the crowd.
"Shoto just leave it to the pro's, don't try to be a hero!" Ekio cries, sick of everything at this point.
All she wants is to go home and rest, everything hurts and she doesn't even have the energy to express that, let alone go catch, beat up and detain a villain on the loose. She doesn't particularly want to catch whoever it is either, no one seems to be hurt, if they were there would be a much bigger commotion.
Shoto looks back to her this time, finally stopping. "Kio we can help, that's what we're—"
Ekio is not dealing with this shit today.
"We're supposed to save ourselves, if the Pro's wanted us they would have found us by now. We aren't heroes, we're practically civilians. Do you think we would actually help, or would we just get in the way? Think about it, idiot. Now follow me." Ekio tugs back on the boy as he had been doing to her.
He doesn't move, not giving any way to her fight and pulling. He is stubborn and wants to see what is going on whether Ekio likes it or not. He is aware that he is still on thin ice with the girl and that is why they are behaving the way they are at the moment, but that won't stop him.
Ekio turns to move, her eyes trailing around to look at the faces in the crowd, searching for anything familiar as human nature does.
Ekio didn't expect to actually find one.
She makes eye contact with Xian, the two of them holding onto each other's eyes for a mere moment before they are torn away. Ekio's eyes go wide, everything falling into place.
The fact that she didn't put it together immediately is a miracle.
"Shoto we have to go. Now." She tugs on the boy aggressively this time, using the push of the crowd to her advantage.
Xian blew up off the side of the stadium and is know getting out of the area so he doesn't get caught. Ekio wants nothing to do with this and is going to stay completely out of it. She isn't going to help her brother but she isn't going against him either. She just needs to get out and do it quickly.
h.e.t.e.r.o.c.h.r.o.m.a.t.i.c.
Ekio wants to scream at the top of her lungs and lose her absolute shit. She wants to call up Xian and just scream at him, asking him how he could do something so idiotic. And why, she wants to know why he would do it.
