[12] Involved

The Nomu raises his hand, ready to crush Midoriya while the other villain tries to grab Tsuyu. But Ekio isn't out yet, a few words from a villain isn't going to scare her enough to stop fighting.

She jumps forward, kicking the man in the head and catching the attention of the Nomu as she wanted. If she hurts the main guy, the beast will follow. The Nomu let's go of Midoriya and turns to Ekio, aiming for her. She dodges and tries to get to Shigaraki but has to dodge an attack from him too.

She raises her hand and smacks it into the ground, making it crack and unstable. For them a least. Ekio has learnt to fight in the environment that her Quirk creates, one of her strengths. The Nomu smashes it's fist into the ground, smashing it up and causing her to run to the side.

Shigaraki follows her, reaching out and almost touching her a few times, but she would always dodge in time and try to hit him back. But in this fight she is on the defence, so he isn't going to easily become scared of her advances unless she finds a way to use her Quirk on a larger scale.

She looks towards the Nomu, activating her Quirk.

"Stop." She mumbles.

But the beast keeps moving towards her, making her eyes go wide. She jumps out of the way, rolling along the ground and running in front of the three in the water.

"It isn't conscious," she mumbles to them, "it's a mindless drone at this point."

The Nomu reaches forward, catching her this time and picking her up by her ankle, raising her into the air and looking her in the eye. She growls and struggles against it but it just squeezes her ankle tightly.

"Careful Nomu, she is one we want," Shigaraki warns, stepping toward them.

Her eyes go wide when he says this, moving her gaze to look at him as he advances. She gulps and looks at the nomu again and raises himself up to his arm. She charges her Quirk and smacks against his arms, creating cuts maybe an inch deep in his arms.

She watches in horror as the cuts regenerate almost immediately, making her gulp and smack him again, firing off her Quirk over and over again. Every time it just cuts into him a little and heals before she has time to fire off her Quirk again. She can't fire off consecutive rounds of her Quirk fast enough to do lasting damage on the Nomu.

'If I don't get him to let go and get out of this soon, who knows what they want to do with me,' Ekio looks to the other man again, who is only a few steps away from her.

She takes a deep breath, trying to calm herself as she looks around. Tsuyu and Midoriya are looking at her in horror from the water, both of them in full shock. Mineta is crying to himself next to them. She glances at Shigaraki again before looking back to the Nomu and hoping to Kami that what she does next works even a little bit in her favour.

She screams loudly and grips onto the Nomu's arms harshly, putting her everything into the one disperse of her Quirk. It shines brightly and the gold lines appear over the Nomu's arm before it explodes into pieces, letting Kio drop to the floor.

She coughs slightly and tries to crawl away in time. The Nomu's arm starts to regenerate immediately, making Ekio's panic rise. She looks towards the three in the water and tries to motion for them to move, to run and escape. But they seem to still be in shock at what they are looking at.

She sighs and smacks the ground, sending ruble into the air and creating a wall between her and the Nomu. Her hands start to sting from using her Quirk over and over again. She crawls quickly as the Nomu pushes through the wall, moving to catch her again. It punches the ground next to her, making her roll to the side. She faces it and takes a risk, using one of her father's Quirk's to fire at the Nomu.
