 Last place.

Ekio is last place in the class. Even Midoriya beat her. The best part about it? It means no one is looking at her to beat her or know her Quirk. They are just waiting for her to drop out.

She sits quietly at her desk as the rest of the class walks in and gets themselves situated. Today they have to start off with English with Present Mic. She is staring at the bored. The grammar in one of the sentences is annoying her but she isn't about to raise her hand and make people look at her.

The girl on the side of her raises her hand and answers the question, making her sigh in content as Present Mic fixes the sentence.

'God this is boring,'

h.e.t.e.r.o.c.h.r.o.m.a.t.i.c.

"I am . . . !" A voice shouts from the corridor, "coming through the door like a normal person."

Ekio's head comes off her desk abruptly as All Might comes into the classroom. She had been planning on napping but it seems that isn't going to be happening today.

'Maybe I should have gone to a normal high school.' She mutters to herself as she rests her head on her chin.

"I teach Hero Basic Training."

Ekio's eyes widen and a grin comes onto her face when she hears this. She has been waiting all day for this and it is finally here. Maybe All Might can teach her how to use her Quirk for good.

"Put on your costumes and meet at Ground Beta!"

Ekio's grin drops, she doesn't have a costume. She doesn't need one for her Quirk at the moment, she is supposed to work with the school to figure out how to enhance her Quirk. She sighs and stands up. As everyone heads towards the change rooms she just moves towards Ground Beta.

She can fight in a skirt well enough. She wears shorts so she should be fine. All Might notices her straying from the group and calls out to her.

"Young girl! The change rooms are the other way!" He bends down to her height as she continues to walk forward.

"I know, but I don't have a costume yet." Ekio says, looking to the teacher.

When she makes eye contact with All Might the man shivers slightly. Her gaze reminds him of someone but he can't quite put his finger on it. The way she holds herself, the way she speaks and the way she observes everything screams nostalgia to him, but he can't remember who.

"I will accompany you to Ground Beta then!" All might grins, straightening up again and walking beside the girl. "What is your name?"

"Komo Kio, Sensei." Ekio says, looking up at the giant of a man. "What is your name?"

"Ha ha! You are funny Young Kio!" All Might dodges the question and Ekio doesn't pick him up on it either.

"Sure, Sensei," Kio eyes the man as she speaks, careful not to use her mothers Quirk by accident.

It would be hard to explain to the Number 1 Hero why she has such a rare Quirk and why she hasn't told the school about it.

"Are you looking forward to your battle?" All Might asks, looking down at the girl as she walks.

Ekio nods, "I hope it isn't a one on one fight, my Quirk isn't very good in such situations."

"Hm?" All Might watches the girl as they make it to the training ground.

She stops and waits for the teacher's orders to go in or to wait for her classmates.

"Shut up!" Bakugo's voice comes from behind them.
